As for Condi, I personally would love it. Being from Alabama myself, I cannot think of a better candidate for our first representative to the presidency. She is principled, articulate, classy, tough, and bright.
It would be amusing in a goofy way also to listen to folks from Wetumpka and Paint Rock sitting down to Sunday dinner saying "Wayul, nevah thought ah would vote for a colored, but ah jes couldn't stomach the though of votin for that bitch Hillary" (HEY, these are MY people. I can mock myself if I like) The legacy of George Wallace and Alabama would finally die, though we would get a bellyful of it during the campaign from the national media.

By the way, what evidence is there that she is a conservative on any issue, except for foreign policy/defense (not that that's insignificant, but, it would be interesting if there was a candidate who had a conservative domestic agenda)?

Really? I would find that surprising...but I'll take your word for it. Hard to believe she could have been Provost at Stanford with those views.

Not with her blaming Israel for all the ills of the Palestinians. It's such a bother when the Israelis let out more than a whimper while they die. She's morphing into something from the Bush Sr. team. Not what we need post 9/11!
And while we are aware that she is satisfactorially endowed, that is certainly not in refrence to her bra size.

I love Condi and think she's got what it takes to be President, but she would be ripped to shreds by Republicans before the dims ever laid a glove on her. We've seen it before....recently.
