Have you ever watched a movie trailer that's amusing, but which also leaves you with the sense that you've just seen all the good parts? Think of what you're reading now as the same sort of thing, except that it covers the bad parts of A Time To Run, the new novel by Barbara Boxer, the liberal Democratic senator from California.

Sure, just don't buy it please. She doesn't need any more encouragement to be an idiot...

ROFLMBO! That there's some awful writing.
She and her ghostwriter just learnt a new word for sex, "meshing". It sounds so, so, different.

I have so much I need to read, I can't waste time on drivel just so I can mock her. I can mock her from what I already know.

I do love the title, "A Time To Run," in light of the dems' new "plan" for how to abandon Iraq. Maybe Murtha helped that idiot Boxer think of the title.

"Ellen, a member of the [Judiciary] committee, had sought to challenge the nominee's strongly suspected bias against Roe v. Wade." The only subject that will REALLY motivate a Democrat, EVEN IN FICTION, is bashing Bush or a woman's so-called "constitutional right" to an ABORTION.
No surprises here, folks.

Did you actually pay good hard earned money for that book or did you lend it from the library?

Attending a hear on dolphin free tuna about twenty years ago I had my first look at Boxer, then a mere member of congress. Even then she was the most self affected human I had ever seen. She was then serving on the fish and wildlife subcommittee and her home state fishing fleet was being decimated by the issue.
To watch her preen was enough to evoke severe stomach reactions My opinion of her have not improved with time..

Isn't that the oldest fundraising ploy in politics?
Write a book that no one will read. Have copies available for lobbyists and fatcats that have already given the legal limit to your campaign.
By law, they can't GIVE you any more, but they can BUY something from you.
After the sale, the books go in the dumpster, or they are never picked up and are resold to the next contributor.

Best book review I've read since the P.J. O'Rouark (sp?) review of "It Takes a Village." Hilarious.

What I want to know is how can the libs who want to save the children, Hitlery's "Raise a Village", etc. can save the children when there will be none to save due to abortion?
