A Time to Run, (or if looks could kill)
Posted on 12/04/2005 3:19:25 PM PST by WBL 1952
Today Barbara Boxer on Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday gave Chris Wallace the "I want to kill you" look.
After asking Barbara repeatedly for Democrats alternatives for Iraq; Chris made note of her new book titled: A TIME TO RUN!
I kid you not: she named her book A TIME TO RUN.
I swear Chris Wallace had kind of a smirk on his face when he held the book up and said the name! Barbara Boxer just winced and gave him THE look.

Barbara Boxer, being a namby-pampy Kindergarten-morality-and-logic touting bleeding-heart liberal, obviously left out the "cut and" part.

It must have been edited for the evening showing, because they just showed a picture of the book. Anybody get a screen cap?

Boxer is such a worthless tw@t.
Kalifornia should be ashamed to have her representing them... but then again, CA has NO shame.

The article's title is great: Boxer Shorts Reading the California senator’s novel is ugly work, but I’ve done it.

Self parody would be a kind way to describe this "woman-way beyond her depth". She is oblivious to the fact that anyone with any intelligence should and would laugh in her face at the inanities she spouts. But she is as serious as the devil. Only a Democrat could be like this.

A snip from the book's steamy sex scene at the review: "
He smelled good too,"
LMAO - and this is a member of Congress' best effort???? The one who used Dippity Do on her hair during the 9/11 hearings? No dang wonder Congress has such low poll ratings. Still LOL

Every politician now knows that you can have a ghost writer throw together a crappy "book" ala Bill and Hillary and then people who want pay you off can then buy a huge number of these "books".
The pay off has been made and the money has been laundered in one smooth move.
I would be interested to know who would buy Boxer's book.

If you, like me, want to check things out for yourself and not take other peoples' opinions of this book for granted, here's
part of the first chapter, courtesy of amazon.com. (You will have to go forward two pages to get to Chapter I, since there's a blank page in there.)
Just the first paragraph makes me think the critics are right. It's horrible. But I know it's nice to be able to judge for yourself, so have at it.
