UK, I can see. Japan, I can see. But India?

I didn't know the US even had very good relations with India.

Interesting.

The English own more American business than any other country (even Japan), largely in the form of holding companies who regularly liquify their owned corporations overnite, thus assuring their executives many billions in retirement savings while wrecking our own economy.

Additonally, I fail to see Britain as an intellectual ally so long as their spirit is corrupt and subverted both internally and by continental Euro-turds.

We won the American Revolution, but in 2005... that doesn't mean much.

George Orwell would post that we cannot align with the EU and Oceania at the same time; it's a revolving alliance of 2 of the 3 versus the remaining one.

Keeping in mind the profuse anti-India threads and sentiments in FR, I doubt this will make much headway.

300 Years of British Colonial Rule puts India firmly in the Anglosphere and they have already forgotten there anit-colonial antipathy as well. Furthermore, being the second most populious nation on earth, with a instable China on their one border and radical Islamist on the other, does'nt hurt either. Most certinally a natural evolution for India.

With all respect, the author is neglecting the great efforts by Australia.

I think they play up to the "Euro-turds" out proximity/economic-necessity and not necessarily because they prefer a stronger EU alliance than an Anglo-American alliance. In the end I think most of our Brit cousins know we'd come to their aid again far quicker than any "Euro-turd," and an alliance with us will counter the neo-Comm socialist agenda of the EU/UN gaggle. IMHO.

Nobody says we have to take the King back.

Its just that the Brits have always been shoulder to shoulder with us. And not because they saw narrow self-interest (though there's alwasy some of that) - rather, because they believe the same things we do. We're lucky to have them as friends in a dangerous world.

If their looney left takes over and tacks away from us, we'll miss them acutely.

The US had a good and improving relationship with India, now a more populous nation than China. India has two traditional enemies; China and Islam. We share this mutual interest.

Yeah I was rather surprised they were not included as well. They're definitely a partner - same free market and democratic credentials, same "superbly trained" professional military.

India is China's greatest potential economic competitor, they have a much more modern military than China and a British heritage. As for Japan, Inc, we own them.

"I didn't know the US even had very good relations with India."

American corporations do. The Indians can do everything cheaper, better, faster according to corporate deep thinkers. My company has shifted 6000 jobs to India.

Agree. I only hope that the anti-India threads and sentiments expressed on FR dont represent the majority opinion of US at least as far as Indo-US relation is concerned.

"The English own more American business than any other country (even Japan), largely in the form of holding companies who regularly liquify their owned corporations overnite, thus assuring their executives many billions in retirement savings while wrecking our own economy."

Can you give the names of holding companies that have liquified overnight, as you say?

The best examples would be the ones that wrecked our economy, as you say.

I'd like to say the names of the holding companies, the corporations and the executives. It makes it possible to validate your claim.

Oh, I certainly didn't think anything against India, if you're referring to me. I just didn't realize we had too much diplomatic discouse with them.

Obviously, I didn't look into the issue before I posted. It's good to know we have India on our side.
