300 Years of British Colonial Rule puts India firmly in the Anglosphere and they have already forgotten there anit-colonial antipathy as well. Furthermore, being the second most populious nation on earth, with a instable China on their one border and radical Islamist on the other, does'nt hurt either. Most certinally a natural evolution for India.
