News breaks out that USArmy placed TRUE stories in Iraqi press & Russert immediately book McCain hoping to get him say SOMETHING against Rummy or the admn.

Amazing. For more than a decade, CNN chief Eason Jordon spreading LIES about Iraq just so he can keep a handful of his "journos" with his 5star hospitality there. He publicly admits it that he was speading these LIES and media didn't care.

Then comes the news that our Military is spreading TRUTH with the help of Iraqi press and our so-called "journalists" are angry. When Saddam cature of Saddam was announced, the Iraqi journalists erupted in applause & cheer. If Bush announces Bin Laden's capture, our "media" definitely will not cheer or applaud. They would immediately question whether he is treated fairly or would permit IRC's visit. Shameful, but true.

For Russert: 9/11 commission is DEAD. Congress REFUSED it's extension. Bush administration REFUSED to provide ANY documents to it anymore. Furthermore, it lost every bit of credibility when Sandy Burglar STOLE all relevant documents [that would implicate Clinton's mishaps] right under its' nose & never questioned about it. Also, having Gorelick on it's panel instead of as a witness & ally of a crime. Letting Clinton of the hook even after it became public knowledge that Bin Laden's head was offered in a platter & the offer was refused by Clinton.

Good morning, Alas. I see we will be treated to the opinions of King Kean and King Hamilton and Wolfie is going to have the Bugar combo. I am always sorry to see Lugar on tap to represent the Republican position, but Biden is so loony it may not be too bad.

Good morning, AB. Thanks for the thread, as always.

I hope everyone saw the Fox special on all the good things happening in Iraq last night. I am sure it will run again, if anyone did not see it. Greg Palkot did a great job.

What a complete waste of time today. There is no one on the shows worth hearing. Just the same old same old regurgitation of the same old falsehoods. Murtha? Biden? Lugar? The Heads of the 9-11 Insane Clown Posse? The ONLY people in the world who care what these people have to say is the host of the show they are on. This isn't even insiders politics anymore. This is NO sider time. Meet the Has Beens.

We just posted the 10th Quarter in a ROW of better then 3% GDP. Best sustained growth since the 1980s. Think anyone on Has Been Sunday will be talking about this? President Bush gives a stellar speech and the National Security Council releases a highly detailed, worthwhile "National Plan for Victory in Iraq" that completely nukes the Dems talking point. Will Hadely even get to bring the plan up or is he just going to have to field wacko accusation after accusation from the Surrender Now Democrats?

I am short handed at work today so I will be back in about 8 hours, probably will not get the Top 10 List out until tomorrow. Sorry but I got 2 on vacation and 1 out sick on the worst work load day of the week. That is if anyone is still awake in 8 hours with this load of crap for a guest list.

Good morning all!

The Blanco memos on Katrina are hitting this morning, something I have been looking forward to with relish!

XNN highlighted the story this morning and used negative language connected with it. I took this to mean that it was truly bad news for Blanco.

Fox just spun it as showing support for Blanco.

These releases do show a coordinated policy of blaming it all on FEMA and GWB.

Here are the AP releases:

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/K/KATRINA_BLANCO_CORRESPONDENCE_GLANCE?SITE=FLTAM&SECTION=US

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/K/KATRINA_BLANCO_CORRESPONDENCE?SITE=FLTAM&SECTION=US

This is apparently the original -note the last few paragraphs left off the main feed releases!:

http://www.thetowntalk.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20051204/NEWS01/512040318/1002

Here is the NY Slimes view- surprisingly critical of Blanco (in spite of the Blame Bush mentality):

http://www.nytimes.com/2005/12/04/national/nationalspecial/04blanco.html?pagewanted=1&ei=5094&en=2f10e8213e46f9e0&hp&ex=1133758800&adxnnl=0&partner=homepage&adxnnlx=1133700250-Yij0TSaWk8IduXxknDA0Gg

I cannot find a link to the raw data mentioned several times. It supposedly is on a Louisiana web site with access only to journalists. Maybe a fellow freeper could get access.

Here is the info on the Congressional Committee..apparently the have not created a web site.

http://www.visi.com/juan/congress/cgi-bin/newcommittee.cgi?site=ctc&lang=&commcode=hkatrina

The spin on this is gonna be wild!

Alas Babylon, thanks for the thread and will you put me on your ping list. Thanks.
