NIGERGATE: UPDATE - FBI AND SISMI TO INVESTIGATE FOREIGN, INCLUDING US, CITIZENS

Yet another Italian news agency is reporting the latest news on the Nigergate front. This is hot, really hot. According to AGI following the decision to conduct a joint inquiry (FBI-SISMI) “satisfaction and the absolute will to collaborate” has been expressed by a number of Italian government and intelligence sources. According to one SISMI source “its about a precise line of inquiry that we indicated”, a line of inquiry that “stimulated enormous interest in a number of institutions including the FBI whom we have been working with since 2003”. This collaboration has already produced results and, according to the intelligence source, “will most probably identify and attribute responsibilities in a very short time”. The investigations are also focused on understanding the role played by a number of individuals of diverse nationalities, including Americans, who are considered to have interacted with those at the heart of the matter. What are we going to see? In particular the investigations will aim at naming those involved and revealing their ‘hidden agendas’. So we have in front of us an investigation that’s going to tell us who produced the forgeries and who attempted to use the Nigergate affair to damage their own and allied governments. Stay tuned !!!

More likely...some Dem, as soon as he/she heard they wanted someone to look into Niger talked to Valerie "privately" to see if she thought Joe would go. That made Valerie the controlling move in this caper. No one but Joe was even suggested from within the ranks?? How could that be??

Joe said this WAS NOT a secret mission. Joe said he briefed the US Ambassador to Niger, the State Department and the CIA but I have as yet seen no evidence of all three parties being briefed BY JOE.

The entire thing was a setup? Was Joe there to see if something HAD occurred or to make sure that nothing got out that it HAD occurred. Somehow, I picture Joe sitting in front of a fireplace....throwing paper after paper into the flames.....just like Berger.

There's an extremely bad smell emanating from the CIA with regard to this Niger story. The presence of yellowcake bound for Iraq was supposedly reported by the owner of a warehouse in Coutonou, Benin. But the CIA admitted to the Senate Intelligence Committee that it never talked to this man. I'm curious as to why this isn't being investigated. Instead we have Rockefeller trying to pin the Niger forgeries on the Bush Administration. Which of course is purely political.

I would say the instant that George W. Bush was finally declared the winner of election 2000, there was all manner and sorts of actions taken to protect vested interests.

Now we at least know by Jan. 2002 just a few months after 9/11/01, there was a concern about saving Saddam, Rockefeller told us this himself.

Now if removal of Saddam would impact little old Rockefeller in such a way, the impact upon France, Russia, and Germany was monumental, not to mention those recipients getting a cut under the charitable UN led Oil for rotten Food Program, Joe and his women were neither in the position to design this (for lack of better term) 'cover-up' because the main benefactors exist on a far higher stature than these two.

I do not deny they were players, but there was toooo much risk in what was attempted if they did not have cover. The story is not complete else these players would stop talking about it and shut-up. Now they are either about to be outed and they need to bloody as many as possible or there is 'intel' out there they do not have nailed down yet.
