"Maj. Gen. Rick Lynch Turns Tables on Media" --- now it's time to "lynch" some of these Democrats and others for turning on the war effort .......... after the proper trial, of course.

Hehehehe. Good one.

Why hasn't there been a full investigation regarding CBS and the forged documents. And why hasn't anyone been charged?

The Establishment Media doesn't like the competition.
(Why Establishment Media and not MSM? Because the MSM does not represent the views of the true mainstream American, only those pinkos on the left and east coasts. Besides, "establishment" is one of the dirty words those 60's hippes used to throw at people who did not think their way. Throw it back at 'em.)

Unfortunately, I am still hearing that "the White House and Pentagon are checking into the legality and "ethics" of such newspaper reports".....
JUST when we think the good guys have gotten the message that they need to QUIT apologizing and agonizing over every perceived affront that the dems and MSM throw at them...
They start all over with this stupid story....and Sen. WARNER is the most to blame...
HE came out on the first day...before even finding out if it was true...and what the "truth" is...and said it was NOT GOOD!!! blech.

It's true, the lame stream press has lied on many occasions. And AFAIK, most, if not all, of their lies have been found out and reported.
But what really bothers me is their lack of reporting (on all the good things going on in Iraq, for example) and their obvious slanting of what they do report on (taking pot shots at President Bush every chance they get even if not germane to the story).
We are in a war with the media. They insist on reporting just the bad stuff to sway public opinion. Given that, I cannot complain when our side fights back. The good news needs to get out too.

The administration desperately needs to learn something from the General. The General has it right - 'Right back at you, pal!'. But the Bush Administration went into its characteristic fetal position. pathetic.

Watching Fox & Friends this morning, the irony was inescapable. There they were, three lefties (especially Julian) self-righteously huffing and puffing about how this hurt "journalistic ethics." To those three, I say, there's scarcely an ethic among the three of you, and certainly none in MSM. In fact, they wouldn't know an ethic if it reached up and bit them on the nose.
Planting stories might have its drawbacks, but I think I understand why they did it. For the life of me, though, I can't figure out why the rest of the media plants, exaggerates, and completely fabricates the stories they do.

Don't forget that in 1986, CBS was hungry to air the first video of the Chernobyl plant after the explosion.
They paid $10,000 for aerials of the smoking plant.... which turned out to be aerials of cement factory in northern Italy.
After all, just because it was set in the mountains (Chernobyl is in flat, mildly rolling country) and there was a rooftop sign in non-Cyrillic characters, and Fiats, Lancias and cement trucks everywhere, who could have known?
Remember, CBS's "Man on the scene in Dallas, our new reporter Dan Rather...." announced that JFK had been pronounced dead about 25 minutes before he was.
Idiots

Challenge the MSM to a contest.
They present all stories that the military published that were false, and we present all the stories the MSM printed that were false.
It will be no contest!

You left out CNN! Remember Eason Jordan. CNN was in Iraq for 12 years and NEVER TOLD THE PUBLIC about the horrors that were going on there.

The military shouldn't have to "plant" good news stories in the press. If the American media was doing their job, this would all be common knowledge. The media is just frantic that the truth may come out.
They all sure jumped on the fake news that the insurgents took over Ramadi, didn't they LOL!!!
