Sounds typical, I was watching NBC Nightly News the other day and they had a report about AIDS. The reporter said "AIDS is the worse plague in human history".
I about fell out of my seat, worse than the Smallpox epidemics that wiped out many of the Indians in America or worse than the Black Death that killed at least one fourth the population of Europe.
MSM is becoming a joke.
Are you suggesting that is what the President does?
Crawford is just another hired mouth.
Agreed. There's an article on the forum right now about a guy who has reupped eight times. Still, some folks are of the opinion that only those who are forced to go to Iraq are serving there.
Not everyone there is pleased as punch about it, but there are many very dedicated people serving in Iraq. I salute them, and I am convinced that many applaud for Bush out of the deepest of respect. As long as those who don't stay respectful, I'll continue to respect them for possibly holding a different opinion than I.
I could file as a compassionate conservative but I know better.
You know I used to say that I never felt hate....I am really starting to hate these people...I do not like this feeling but at times I cannot help it....the lies, the deceit and the morons that believe them......arggghhhhhh"
Ditto.....the funny thing is, I imagine our arggghhhhhh sounding like the arggghhhhhh after the infamous speech by Howard Dean!
It doesn't--however during the Raping Rhodes Scholar's reign the military had to put everyone under the threat of punishment under the UCMJ because so many where speaking out about how they despised having to follow the misguided direction of the draft-dodging war protester Clinton--especially when the first act of his administration, in spite of all the pressing problems of the nation, was to try to force the military to accept avowed homosexuals. He had to settle for don't ask don't tell. Of course it was no secret that the Clintons loathed the military.
"Ditto, great line.
...has this idiot been watching Hillary? She won't answer ANY question that hasn't been cleared by her people when talking on a liberal show, if watched carefully the questions come from her people. Then her speeches are cut and prepared for national broadcast by the liberal MSM The one reason most liberals won't appear before a military audience is because any applause would be noticeably polite
Doogle
I seem to remember Kerry appearing before the VFW or some other retired military group during the campaign last year...and he didn't get the warmest welcome...
Oh..and then there are the "staged" events where he stands in front of a ship...and drags his "peeps" that were supposedly his shipmates in Vietnam with him...
Of course, they were being paid...
Never mind.
No. He is telling them in person that the commander in chief is not going to disappoint them. Al Jazeera and the world is watching when he tells the warriors that we will finish the mission. The enemy needs to hear that.
I think President Bush has given many "war" speeches before audiences that weren't all military...
The best of course...was on the rubble of the World Trade Center...with the firemen and volunteers, looking for victims..
Our president and military will have nothing to do with that.
Very telling.
If you are relying on the MSM for your information how would you know what the President does? The MSM doesn't report the NEWS, they disseminate propaganda.
On the other hand, when liberals only show their face before slack-jawed, drooling sycophants like the MSM, isn't that a confession of:
(a) Weakness
(b) Stupidity
(c) Hypocricy
(d) Admission of their sedition
(e) All of the above
I've read this type of post before and conceder it a slur against the military.
Olberman's and the MSM's days are numbered! He was worthless at that other liberal outfit, ESPN, and he is more than worthless on PMSNBC!
I know that during the Toons reign of error even civilians found themselves targeted with IRS audits if they didn't show the "proper" respect for the lyin hillbilly and his hoe.
