Kidnappers Threaten to Kill Iraq Activists

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Al-Jazeera television broadcast a videotape Friday in which kidnappers of four Christian peace activists threatened to kill their hostages unless all prisoners in U.S. and Iraqi detention centers are released. The kidnappers gave the two governments until Dec. 8 to meet their demands, Al-Jazeera quoted a statement delivered with the tape as saying.
The tape showed what the broadcaster said were two Canadian hostages. An American and a Briton are also being held. All four appeared frightened.
The Canadians were shown eating from plates of what appeared to be Arabic sweets. In a second clip, the British and American hostages were shown to talking to the camera but no audio was transmitted.
The two were calling on the U.S. and British governments to withdraw from Iraq, Al-Jazeera reported, quoting a statement from the kidnappers, who earlier identified themselves as the Swords of Righteousness Brigade

Stupid peace activists? how dare you. After getting together, smoking a considerable amount of dope and strategizing, they formed a plan that was to their liking, they will save the world and live in happiness. they will put an end to this this unjust illegal war.

The ideal outcome: Delta operators break in just as the taping starts, with the first knife barely applied to the first peacenik throat. The Deltas kill the terrorists in a hurricane of gunfire right in front of the intended beheading victims. The camera, its operator dead of a .45 bullet in what passes for his brain, continues to roll. A masked Delta holsters his pistol, looks at the camera and gives it the finger, declaring "up yours, Ramsey Clark." Fade to black.

These muslims are not on the same thinking plane as westerners. These poor generation X hippies, I fear, have sealed their doom. They were naive and did not understand their enemy. It reminded me of the scene in "Die Hard" when the preppy, cocaine sniffing punk, tried to negotiate a deal with Hanns and "Roy". John McClain knew the nature of the enemy. The negotiator got his brains blown out.

My Money says that the activists are in cahoots with the kidnappers and they are going to milk this for all it's worth.
