Mere headfakes. The loonoids will fall all over themselves in worshipping her, once she announces that she intends to run for Prez.

Jimmy needs to scrape up Norman Mailer and make a run for the presidency. Then America would get straightened out.

This is indeed strange - Bush's hard core right slamming Bush, and Hillary's hard core left slamming Hillary!

"How concerned are you that President Bush is not doing enough to get Americans back to work, create more jobs and get the economy moving again? "

Hate to see the beast get away with lie after lie. She just can't tell the truth like her disgraced husband.

This is nothing but a sham...Clinton's progressive opponents are going through a charade, one that I suspect is pre-planned...when as and if the bitch is nominated, these same 'critics' will fall all over themselves to say that she is the best...as usual, be prepared...the Clintons are as close to the all Anti-American Couple as, I hope, this country will ever produce. They are the only true argument, other than the other current Democrat leadership, in favor of abortion that I can see.

Hillary wants to be president (forget that co-president stuff if she's elected).

Being president means being CIC.

She knows many of the troops don't like or respect her (I'm using the mildest of terms, knowing there is a wide range of attitude out there). She expects that won't be a problem once she is ensconced because she'd have all power to force her "subjects" to do her will. I expect that is one of the duties she'd most enjoy -- ordering the military around, especially the men, and promoting every female she could, whether competent or not.

Everything hrc does is calculated for some political or personal power gain.

Somewhere along the road of her intentions to become president, she decided she had to go hawkish.

That's why she's willing to let the left scathe her on this.

"Hillary Clinton today holds the new North American record for fakery," writes Newsday columnist Jimmy Breslin. "She copies. She sneaks and slithers past you with her opinion on a war that kills every day."

I hate those kind of wars.

"How concerned are you that President Bush is not doing enough to get Americans back to work, create more jobs and get the economy moving again?"

Uhh.... 4.3% GDP growth during the quarter with the worst natural disaster in American history. Approximately 5% unemployment. More people working than any time in American history. What more do you want?

"How concerned are you that the massive budget deficits caused by Republican economic and tax policies will inevitably result in drastic cuts in Social Security, Medicare, education and social services?"

I want cuts in federal education and social services. Those powers belong to the states or to the people. As for drastic cuts in SS and Medicare (also not federal powers in the Constitution), demographics cause that - not Republican policies. And some of those demographic changes are from 30+ years of abortion cutting the younger population. That wasn't part of the Republican campaign platform.

Also, the massive deficits come from both parties spending like drunken sailors, not from the tax cuts. The feds have more than enough money. They just spend all they have and a lot more.

Trust me, it's a ruse to give Hitlery some needed air cover with the more moderate elements of the Democrap party. Might even suck in some of the less astute members of the Pubbie Party who are hacked off with Bush for something or other.

Once in the White House (PLEASE ALMIGHTY GOD, FORBID IT!!!), it'll be off with the mask of moderation and back to business as usual.

If the Demrats didn´t get enough after Jimmy Carter, the most incompetent piece of crap to ever sit in the WH, then they will elect Hillery.

Hillery has come out and said we need border patrol, control of Illegal immigration, support the troop, fight the war on terror, etc., etc..

The Demrats reelected her husband while winking at all his sexual escapades and knowing about his and his wife´s legal woes and all their scandals. So I am firmly in belief that they can and will elect her president, and then we will see that she lied to everyone about her stance on all these subjects when she back tracks.

She will get elected by the Demorats, the liberals and those conservatives and libertarians that cry like a baby losing its pacifier every time they the Repub politicians don´t vote for something they personally want or believe in.

The Democrat base knows she is a major socialist who will say anything to fake out more conservative people to get their vote in a national election.
We all know what is going on, it's the people stuck on stupid who don't get Hillary and would vote for her that are our country's greatest deficit in 2008.
I don't think Hillary will win at all, but you won't believe the stupidity of people who will come out of the woodwork backing her. For those people, their sense of history started yesterday.

Hillary Clinton is the future 'Manchurian candidate.' She is a Stalinist who will rob Americans of their constitution. She should never be trusted and never be elected to any office!

This may be a newsflash but Hillary isn't a demonical genius and the Democrat base is not this monolith in perfect accord managing this great masquerade of discord that will ultimately vanish when she gets the nomination (as is the plan).

Nope.

I don't buy it.

The truth is that Hillary is a Marxist at her core. Whereas her husband was a triangulation type of guy with no core values he was above trading if to his advantage. Clinton won election through triangulation. Hill doesn't think her marxist views will win her election, she did watch her Hillarycare flame out. She's attempting to mimic her husband, to less success.

The Hard left sees her as a sell out to her Core being. Imagine Reagan selling out the heart of conservatism for political expediency. It's a shot in the gut to this group.

They don't like her. This is not an act.

Would they support her if chosen? Yeah. They sucked it up and supported kerry. Doesn't mean they want her to represent them. She isn't a sure thing, if she was, she'd never have put out that jump the shark fence straddling comment on the Iraq war yesterday. That's the act of a woman that is coming to realize they aren't going to settle for a wink and a nod and GIVE her this nomination as she had assumed.

"It's the economy, stupid." "Americans vote with their pocketbooks"

We all remember those slogans. Hillary's problem is our economy is fantastic, unemployment near record levels. She figures Iraq will be settled before 2008 and off the news. She can only hope the economy turns upside down for a 2008 run.
