Catholic ping!
I watched part of it last night. It was mostly the kind of humor that Leary is known for. The Tits for Tots thing with Carmen Electra was kind of funny though.
Ping!
If you don't like it, turn the channel. The remote is not broken.
Most Christians and for that matter Moslems believe Jesus was born of a virgin.
It's not just a Catholic thing.
I won't be watching this crap. Why don't they trash the muslims on a comedy show? I forgot, it's okay to attack Chrisitanity in this country but you cannot do that to any other religion.
Oh, that old argument. If this was attacking any other faith, the hammer would be dropped.
Denis, Do the same skit only about Muhammed. I'll send flowers to your funeral.
I'm quite aware of that. It was just that the Catholic League was the organization pointing it out.
Get over it, it's comedy. At least he said "Merry Christmas". Also, Leary is constantly doing charity events. And for the Jesus remarks, all religion is based on faith of things that cannot be understood. I wouldn't want a steady diet of this kind of humor but the Catholic League is a little too sensitive.
See my post #8.
Yet another reason I don't watch Comedy Central. That channel is full of juvenile humor, conservative/religion bashing, and overall unfunny comedians. The channel itself is a joke.
Humor! It may not be your kind but as others have said... change the channel.
This just in... Jon Stewart is not a real journalist.
Everything Dennis Leary does, he stole from Bill Hicks. Hicks died from cancer a decade ago.
Hicks was once asked what he thought of Leary. He replied, "There's no cure for cancer. There's no cure for Leary."
I tried to give Leary props for doing a show about firemen, but it turns out according to him, all firemen are male sluts and drunks and suffer from involutary spurts of verbal flatulence.
Exactly.
It's already been shown once. It's not like people are preventing it from being shown in the first place.
Par for the course for liberals. But if you're offended, you're a whacko who can't take a joke. And if you write a serious commentary criticizing them or do any kind of comedy making fun of them, then you're over the top, engaging in hate speech, dumping on their 1st Amendment rights, and you are an evangelist whacko that wants to go out burning books and conducting witch trials. Gotta love the liberal double-standard!
