Get over it, it's comedy. At least he said "Merry Christmas". Also, Leary is constantly doing charity events. And for the Jesus remarks, all religion is based on faith of things that cannot be understood. I wouldn't want a steady diet of this kind of humor but the Catholic League is a little too sensitive.

Yep. No one has a right not to be offended, not even us Catholics.

And yes, as some have pointed out, there would be holy heck to pay if Leary had done a similar skit about Islam. And that, too, would be wrong.

maybe you are a bit too callous and desensitized to this kind of hate speech. Good to know you "wouldn't want a steady diet of this...

But your dismissal of others and condoning words do little to support that statement.

Btw, the Bible is simple enough for Children to understand. Christ was born for your sins, he loves you and wants you to recognize your need for a Saviour. No one with sin enters heaven, everyone will be judged because sin deserves punishment. Jesus is there for you to grab a hold of...his grace is a gift that does not need to be mocked.

There is no need to think too hard on it. The Bible will teach you Gods word and his plan for your life.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Christian faith is based on the assertion that
Jesus was born of a virgin , that Christ did
"miracles" (p.s. they're not supposed to be
everyday happenings,y'now...don't be surprised if
it's hard to believe), and died and rose again for
the sins of the world (which are many, in case you
haven't noticed). These events are asserted to have
taken place in real Newtonian and quantum space/time.
We'll see if people say "Merry LearyMass" in the future.
But I gotta admit, the overcommercialization of Christ Mass,
and the quiet tacit denial of the central truths of
Christ will certainly put an end to the common
celebration of the holyday as we know it at this time
in the universes history.
