Hillary Clinton: Iraq War Vote a Mistake

For the first time since she voted to authorize the Iraq war three years ago, 2008 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is now saying that vote was a mistake - in an apparent move to pacify growing dissatisfaction with her position among the Democratic Party's left-wing base.

"If Congress had been asked [to authorize the war], based on what we know now, we never would have agreed," Clinton said, in an email sent to her supporters on Tuesday.

While saying she took full responsibility for her error, Clinton repeatedly insisted that she had been misled by "false" intelligence on Iraq's weapons of mass destruction presented by the Bush administration.

Citing "assurances they gave that they would first seek to resolve the issue of weapons of mass destruction peacefully through United Nations sponsored inspections," Clinton lamented: "Their assurances turned out to be empty ones."

This entire strategy could burn the Democrats so badly. If elections go well, we start drawing down troops and Iraq continues to move forward...what a collosally stupid idea the Democrats are doing right now with this revisionist history and revisionist voting.

Hillary is just the same lying sack of sh!t she always has been.

But, she must be getting worried the MoonBats will go someplace else so she's playing to her natural base instead of trying to pretend she's a "moderate".

The polls said Abe Lincoln would not win a second term. And if you read papers from the period. There was doubt in the press that the Union would prevail. Well it did. And Hillary is just a frumpy old broad who hopefully is defeated and slides into obscurity!

If I had known last January that Tony Stuart was going to win the Championship of Nascar I could have made a million bucks.

None of us know what will happen and we have all said "If we had known" Sometime in our lives.Probably if Bush had known the truth he would not have gone either, but then what is the truth? We still dont know what is hidden in Syria.

Now the part about being mislead by Bush is a Got damned lie told by a lying POS.

One of the reasons we are in Iraq is because of the information she and other democrats were spouting when Bill was in office. Liars like her and other Democrats make them unfit to be in the Senate, unfit to be called Americans.

Hey Hillary --

How do you ask a soldier to be the last one to die for a mistake?

I Can't Say No

It ain't so much a question of not knowing what to do.
I knowed whut's right and wrong since I been ten.
I heared a lot of stories and I reckon they are true
About how girls're put upon by men.
I know I mustn't fall into the pit,
But when I'm with a feller, I fergit!

I'm jist a girl who cain't say no,
I'm in a turrible fix
I always say "come on, le's go"
Jist when I orta say nix!

"If Congress had been asked [to authorize the war], based on what we know now, we never would have agreed,"

This is such a cop out. She can claim to one group that she is against the war and wishes that she never voted for it or can also claim that she voted for it with the info she had but now we are there, we have to finish the job.

Apparently the Mighty Hildabeaste has finally found something where she can be an undisputed, absolute, expert.

That would be hindsight.
