For the sealed-border crowd, there is nothing Bush could ever do that would be good enough.

He could build the tallest wall, and when it failed to keep 'them' out, as it would... they'd just say he didn't build it tall enough.

How can you say that when he's done absolutely nothing?

And then there are those of your ilk who want to flood the country with criminals that will never be assimilated and will destroy the US.

You slavish devotion to Bush on this issue reveals more than you think. It is getting damned close to the time when citizens with pitchforks in DC will be the only thing to awaken the pols to their peril.

Nice excuse for Bush's failure to uphold his oath of office.

You will find that I am the most devout ANTI-wall person you could imagine. But that does not take away from the fact that the inept and corrupt nitwits on my Texas border cannot control the current border crossings. The coyotes and smugglers OWN our federal agency. It would be more intellectually honest for the administration to budget $12 Billion to pay in bribes to the Mexican Federale's, the coyotes, and the smugglers.

The only time I will support a wall is if we build it on the Mexican side of the border. Never in Texas on private property. I have no problem with my government taking Mexican land to build a wall. Never Texas property owned by American citizens.

He hasn't done anything yet, so how could we say it isn't good enough? When he actually does something other than propose amnesty in the guise of guest worker programs we might start to take him seriously. We need to control our borders. Did you ever hear of terrorist? They are these guys trying to kill us all over the world and they are coming accross our southern border. This is a fact born out by the FBI and the border patrol.

You may want your cousins to come accross but the rest of us want to make sure they have a legal right to be here before they are allowed to come here. ILLEGAL is the key word and is always dismissed by guys like you who want to turn it into a racist thing or a Bush bashing. He deserves to be bashed on the border issue regardless of how well he has done on other things.

The biggest point right now is the terrorist portion of the problem, but the most destructive over the long term is the economic and social part.
