He could build the tallest wall, and when it failed to keep 'them' out, as it would... they'd just say he didn't build it tall enough.

You will find that I am the most devout ANTI-wall person you could imagine. But that does not take away from the fact that the inept and corrupt nitwits on my Texas border cannot control the current border crossings. The coyotes and smugglers OWN our federal agency. It would be more intellectually honest for the administration to budget $12 Billion to pay in bribes to the Mexican Federale's, the coyotes, and the smugglers.

The only time I will support a wall is if we build it on the Mexican side of the border. Never in Texas on private property. I have no problem with my government taking Mexican land to build a wall. Never Texas property owned by American citizens.

We don't need a wall. We need proper surveillance, grab then, print them, and send them straight back in a Mexican taxi all within minutes of them being caught. Let their own government deal with them for being an embarrassment and inconvenience.

It really doesn't take much to protect the border, it just takes the WILL to do it. Once these illegals get deep into the country, they get harder and more costly to remove.
