I woke up this morning to find a city worker peeking inside my trash cans, when asked just what the hey did he think he was doing, he replied, this isn't a warning, just information, but styrofoam doesn't go in the blue container! This is just one more indignity in the long line of city choke holds that goes on in Fresno, California. We have water nazis to make sure we water at the appropriate time and on the appropriate day, we have chimney nazis to make sure we don't light our fireplaces on an unnapproved day, and now, apparently, we have trash nazis, walking around checking our trash cans! To me this is an unnacceptable invasion of privacy and a further erosion of my rights as a human being. If our trash isn't safe from this nonsense, what's next?
A For Sale sign in front of your house....
Move to a sane part of the country.
I hope you shred all your bills and papers containing personal info.
Hint: don't live in a city.
Another reason for me to be grateful I don't live in the People's Democratic Republic of Kahleefoaneeahh. I pity those of you who still do... :-(
Hmmmm - are you sure it was a city worker? Maybe it was someone posing as one so he could go through garbage cans looking for information that could be used for identity theft? Am I crazy? Maybe.
Well....put the styrofoam in the fireplace and light it and get the water hose out to extinguish it. When they all run up to your house, sell them Amway products or have a bake sale. Better?
MOVE...it's only going to get worse. I'm not kidding. Plus, don't they give you a different bin to put stuff like that in. If they do, then it's your fault. If not, than MOVE.
We already have food nazis and weight obsessed nazis, so I guess the next thing will be transportation nazis.
Got a good bike and walking shoes ready?
Is there a gnome and lawn ornament nazi out there, too?
Some towns don't have trash collection and the citizens enter into private agreements with free enterprise.
Surprise! The service is better and the costs are lower.
Its only a sample of whats to come if we had a Socialist liberal government.
Thank God Canada is bringing their liberal government out to the curb in the Blue Bucket.
I believe the Supreme Court ruled that once you place your garbage out on the roadside, it is no longer "yours".
If you leave something in the trash, it is fair game. Anyone can come and look at your garbage all they want.
I have four cats. And seven litter pans.
I can only hope........
Well... it doesn't.
Trash is public domain, I'm afraid. Don't you watch CSI?
Did you think this one through? Yeah...I didn't think so. (There is a reason why it is called "trash").
