POSTED: 5:35 pm EST November 28, 2005 UPDATED: 6:50 pm EST November 28, 2005
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Pro wrestler Ric Flair faces assault charges after a road rage incident on Interstate 485 in Charlotte. Another driver said Flair attacked him and his car.
The driver said he was on I-485 on Wednesday, trying to get out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday and traffic was slow.
The driver said he noticed someone behind him flashing their headlights, so he hit his brakes.
The driver said the car then pulled along side him, police said. The victim said he immediately recognized the driver as Ric Flair.
The driver told police that Flair got out of his car, walked over to the vehicle, grabbed him by the neck and damaged his car.
Police said there are two warrants out for Flair -- simple assault and damage to personal property.
Flair's attorney, Richard Finnell, said Flair is unaware of the warrants. He said Flair is in Michigan this week for a pay-per-view wrestling event.
Finnell said Flair would be back in Charlotte on Tuesday.
The big timers are the ones that generally cut themselves with razor blades, although sometimes, some of the guys, especially on the lower circuits get REALLY messed up doing stupid stunts.
More or less, Pro-Fake Wrestling is a soap opera for 14-35 yr old males....
I love this keyboard warrior sh#t!
If you look at it as a tumbling act and not a sport some of it is fairly good. However these days its mostly arguing and posturing before the camera.
On Sunday night, the Survivor Series, he got busted wide open, which is a Flair trademark.
Yeah, it's dangerous to cut yourself though. Eddie Guerrero did it in a match and ended up nearly passing out in the ring because of the blood loss, ended up in the hospital
You sure talk like a authority for someone who says they don't watch it.
Charlotte is Flair country. No way a jury would convict!
Bank on it! They tried to get him to run for Senator not long ago!
Imagine Flair in the Senate Well...Whoooaoaoaooaoaoaaa!

I get it passing through sometimes, about 2 minutes is plenty. Its a joke. I believe some parents use it to keep their kids occupied , then they wonder why their kids sass them all the time.
The charges against Ric Flair were dismissed.
