Wrestler Ric Flair Accused Of Road Rage

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Pro wrestler Ric Flair faces assault charges after a road rage incident on Interstate 485 in Charlotte. Another driver said Flair attacked him and his car.

The driver said he was on I-485 on Wednesday,trying to get out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday and traffic was slow.

The driver said he noticed someone behind him flashing their headlights, so he hit his brakes.

The driver said the car then pulled along side him, police said. The victim said he immediately recognized the driver as Ric Flair.

The driver told police that Flair got out of his car, walked over to the vehicle, grabbed him by the neck and damaged his car.

Police said there are two warrants out for Flair -- simple assault and damage to personal property.

Flair's attorney, Richard Finnell, said Flair is unaware of the warrants. He said Flair is in Michigan this week for a pay-per-view wrestling event.

Finnell said Flair would be back in Charlotte on Tuesday.

I will hit my brakes if some idiot starts pushing me. I also carry a firearm legally and if someone attacks me in my vehicle that is plenty of legal cause to defend myself. I don't watch his "show", and I could care less who he thinks he is. My 45LC doesn't care either.
Why is it that some in here think he has a right to attack someone just because they didn't give into his intimidation? I would bet it didn't even enter his egotistical little mind that he could have ended up "legally" dead for that little act of violence. His actions meet every legal threshold that I know of that would make it legal for the victim to drop a hammer on him. What an ass.

I wonder if the WWE will strip him of The Intercontinental Championship, for conduct unbecoming a champion. Of course, champions in the WWE routinely use sledgehammers, steel chairs, tables, and screwdrivers on their opponents, so this little fracas will probably blow over.

Yes they cut themselves with razor blades. Its turned into a really sick source of entertainment. Kids shouldnt be allowed to watch any of it IMO. Its not a fit entertainment for kids nor for the low IQ adults with nothing better to watch, and no I didnt see the show you are speaking of. If I wish to watch that sort of entertainment I will go to a cockfight.
