All humanity is of one Author, and is one volume; when one dies, one chapter is not torn out of the book, but translated into a better language; and every chapter must be so translated; God employs several translators; some pieces are translated by age, some by sickness, some by war, some by justice; but Gods hand is in every translation, and his hand shall bind up all our scattered leaves again for that library where every book shall lie open to one another.

God speed, Matthew.

We can never repay the debt owed to our soldiers proudly serving their nation, much less repay those who lay down their lives for our freedom. I can only offer prayers for your grieving family along with my family's sincere gratitude, as well as a promise that my children will ALWAYS know of and respect our military's sacrifices. Rest in peace, Matthew. Job well done!

""He just gave 100 percent, from zero to full throttle, nothing in between. That was the way he lived his life."
More fitting words would be difficult to find. It must have been thrilling to have been in his life.
Thank you Matthew, and God Bless You.

Absolutely Amen to that sentiment, tubebender!!!
Discovered on the news that CA had the highest number of those serving in Iraq. TX is third. Can't remember who is second. Our CA men and women are making Iraq, America and the world a better place for ALL mankind, for all time!!!
We are blessed by God to have such great mortals fight for such supreme moral high ground!!!
