Name one facet of today's proposal that is different that what has been floated before. There actually is one, we'll sort-of. Lets see if you know what it is.
Actually three major things are different.
One, he wants to send the immigrants back to their home towns hundreds of miles back in the middle of Mexico, instead of dumping them a couple of miles away from the U.S./Mexican border.
Two, he does not want to release caught illegals back out onto the streets and expect them to show up for court to be deported, but instead hold them until they are processed and deported.
Three, get rid of the time limit on how long a illegal can be held if their home country does not take them back, in other words, hold them indefinitely if necessary.
