Despite what was initially issued, I claimed that there was more to this CNN "X" Cheney thing.
This now in from Drudge....

CNN: "This whole thing is a plot by Rove to discredit CNN..."
And Drudge was correct last week when he said
on the Hannity/Colms Show that he was almost
SURE the "glitch" had to be person manipulating
the buttons inside the CNN television studio
control booth. CNN called in to the show to
deny that it was anything but an accidental
"glitch" in the apparatus. And of course
Colmes not only denied, he tried to make
Drudge eat crow.
They figure all one has to do is DENY until the
story gets old and noone cares anymore. Not the
way things work today with hi-tech blogging
skills/interest. Hope Colmes AND CNN have to
add a bit more salt on their crow!
MAPES: "Hey, I resemble that remark!"
The operator was a male. I listened to it this morning on the way to work. One of the local DFW talk show hosts (Ankarlo) played it. Totally amazing, sounded like one of the frequenters of the DU.
That's not an excerpt, it's a teaser. My broswer hung for minutes trying to load your page, so I gave up.
This is the exact liberal philosophy once they get secure. "If you don't like it is too damn bad." The Democrats must never again be given the balance of power.
Sorry. Webmaster is working on it. Might've been hacked.
Yah I seemed to have same problem. Any way it (or a shortened version) can be copied over? Up until now, I've been assuming it was just a production glitch, which does happen.
"If you don't like it, don't watch."
I don't watch CNN, and I'm quite happy that I don't. This idiot operator's response is one more reason not to watch.
Channel should be renamed NNN, or N3 - nattering nabobs of negativity.
I agree with you on not watching CNN. We apparently have lots of company since Fox News is dominating cable news.
"The operator will have a new job with more pay at msnbc...after she makes the rounds of the lefty talk shows."Don't forget the lecture circuit, and of course a book deal:)
HEY! Watch the Bob-words... :-P
I could say the same thing about our "Republican" leadership, too.
"If you don't like it, don't watch."
I don't.
"A Turner switchboard operator was fired"
Another take on this might be,
"The only honest man at CNN was fired today for speaking the truth to a caller." :)
"Transition begins after 5 frames of black"...
It's a shame that in the TV business, that needs to be placed on the screen for some dumbo's instruction.
