Bush plans anti-illegals campaign

It'll be worthless but designed to generate headlines, to give the illusion of serious action. So as to give the GWBush illegal alien amnesty political cover. GW has had 6 years to show he's serious about enforcing our borders and deporting illegal aliens, most especially illegal aliens who commit crimes here. He did diddly squat. The hacks in DC think illegal immigration is a joke.

But now is four years too late, so I expect it will be too little, as well.

He didn't exactly go around stumping for putting property rights' safeguards in place after what the USSC pulled (He wasn't exactly hitting up Congress and pushing them to do something about it).

I'm not expecting him to do much here. Hell, he's wanting to let the ones already here, stay here for six years, by which time they will have found a way to get legal citizenship (either through marriage or children).

So far that's all he's done. Clinton yapped too, about lots of things. The only real difference between them is that Bush has a pretty wife.

I think it's about time. Just because we "now" need illegal labor, doesn't make it right. It also doesn't justify calling "invasion and abuse" - immigration. These people are not and never were immigrants. They are sneaky, come in, take jobs, use tax-based public services, schools and have some feeling of entitlement. If we're going to have true immigration in this country, let it be from "everywhere" not just Mexico. Why are they so special?
They are not. Close the border and put an end to this before half of this country turns into Mexicoville. We should also boycott Wendy's Restaurants for hiring so many of them for the sake of higher profits.
