It has been an incredible failure of this administration to effectively make the case for doing the right thing. The case has been there.

The major media barely mentioned it. Hmm, I wonder why. Bottom line folks ... if the Bushies can't get this sort of info out they aren't playing in the big league. There are ways to circumvent the liberal mainstream media ... if this report is true.

Bump, BTTT, means to reply to a thread for the purpose of keeping it current on the screen. This works for only a very short time since everything scrolls by rapidly.

I've always wondered about that. Does something remain at the top of the queue simply because it gets a lot of hits? It's never seemed that way to me. It seems that topics move down the list as they are supplanted by new posts, and that this has nothing to do with how many hits a post receives.

It seems pointless to bump since the volume of traffic is so large. It might be a way of bookmarking a thread for oneself, or just saying 'hey'. The ping is more useful since a group with known or suspected interests can be called to a thread long after it has scrolled into the bit bucket.

<<>> Because it was buried on Page 11.... Page 1 would have cut the MooreOns off at the knees in an election summer, and that would have cost a LOT of people a BUNCH of money and ratings.... And you KNOW we can't have THAT! It's why they had the fake "Race" with Edwards, Sharpton and Kerry "Debating" all the time...

Oh but see, he hadn't actually done anything yet! We should have waited until he killed a few thousand Americans and then made sure he had a fair trial with a good defense attorney! /sarcasm

"This shouldn't be a surprise. BTW it took 60 years to find out that Hitler had planned attacks against New York." Exactly! All this should be brought out in Saddam trail. I suppose Putin was going to warn us ...(not!)

Yep, there is the issue of how reliable Putin is. The Left used that argument when this story first came out.

So, you trust an ex-KGB Colonel, hmmm. Thanks for the input Gospodin Tovarisch.

Consider bump a complement.
What it means is that I am trying to keep the story near the top as it is important.
I also gave it a bump for a selfish reason, I wanted to have a post of mine own on this thread so that I could easily come back to this article in the future.
People bump an article to keep it up top in the current postings for other people to see and post on.
People also bump an article for self reference so that they can log into their own account look at their postings and rereference the article.
