Never again.
If I ever see someone call one of our Vets a Baby Killer or spit on them in a public airport, the police can have 2 people to arrest for assault.
One of us will be making a stop by the hospital tho.

I was getting pretty steamed till I read that lovely ending!! If all such encounters ended like that, Mad-Hatter Libs would be afraid to stink up our country.

The leftists will deny this, of course.
Yep.
It's really sad in some cases. One major talk-radio host in Los Angeles
is a generally decent "law-and-order liberal". The guy is even on
a friendly basis with ex-LAPD chief Darryl Gates.
But, he and one "expert" he had on his show claim that the Vietnam-era
"spittings" are just urban legends.
The lefties just can't handle the truth when some of their fellow travelers
act in reprehensible ways.

kristin, this needs verified and documented. I'm not questioning you. I take you at your word. The left has the luxury of denying that it happened during vietnam. They need to have their feet held to the fire over their conduct.

I've been waiting for this to start happening.Never, Never forget how our military personal were treated after they returned from Viet Nam.
Very few of them retaliated to the abuse dished out.
It is great to hear that now the abusers that get physical get their just deserts.

Don't you have to be totally insane or suicidal to shove a Marine just back from a war?
Pretty much so. But I sure don't feel sorry for the s.o.b.

Oooh, ooh! I know who it was! I know who it was!!
I still like the bearded freak who declared he hadn't served our nation in uniform because he was "not a murderer."
I really, really hope he comes out again. No, I'm not implying violence. Merely psychological warfare. [grin]

I heard this young man's story first-hand Friday night. He was very composed while telling the story. But he did express his gratitude for us being outside in support of the troops - even hanging out the car window whooping and hollering earlier that evening.

The manager asked everyone to leave, but he made a point of thanking the military men for their service to our country.Ok - I'll just be bitchy and say that I think the owner of the restaurant should have bought our heroes a round of drinks to make up for the trouble they had in his establishment. But that's just me. I know if I'd have been there I would have taken the heroes to another establishment and bought them all a round. But again, that's just me. I would probably also had a few words for the management for tossing out the baby with the bathwater.
