What exactly is it when people or mods say zot on some of these threads? I've been noticing it lately but never really figured out what it was for?

I never could get used to the word "troll". These folks are disruptors.When you think about it, "troll" is a good description since it is a small, ugly creature that burrows around in the underground. LOL

Zot is am "onomatopoeia" -The formation or use of words such as buzz or murmur that imitate the sounds associated with the objects or actions they refer to.
(As in Batman comic books sounds)
Zot most often associated with lightening bolts and the results thereof.
