Willis rocks. He is one of a very short list of actors whose work I always enjoy.
He's a good man.
God bless Bruce. I have always adored him. I am so glad that he is taking on this project. I watch all the WWII movies and am just amazed at how Hollywood has changed since then. All the war movies back then were so pro-American and they rallied around the troops. I guess with Bruce there remains a spark of that old Hollywood spirit.
Bad reviews from that crew should only help the cause. You are discounting that more than half the population supported Bush and the War despite what polls are saying. If I was asked if I am happy with how the war is going, I would have to say NO - we aren't letting our troops fight hard enough to overwhelm the enemy. The MSM misinterprets any such negative comment as a lack of support for being in Iraq at all. GO BRUCIE!
Well I knew I liked for something. There you go. ;-)

Good for Bruce Willis~~!!! I hope the movie makes millions!
Willis is one of the few in Hollywood who both could (financially) and would pull off a positive movie about our work in Iraq.
The reason you like those particular actors is because they're men...they don't tow the party line, they say what they feel is right without fear of reprisal and they do what they think is right, whether you agree or not. Those kind of Hollywood men are a dying breed being replaced by pretty boys that the money men THINK people want to see. Wait until the gay cowboy movie comes out...Now, who's the audience for this one? It'll BOMB, BOMB, BOMB...
Yon's blog is well worth your time.
Great post. I wonder which movie is going to do better, a movie about American heroes fighting in Iraq or the gay cowboy movie?
Willis is this generation's John Wayne IMO.
Thank you Bruce, America needs more folks like you!
Bruce-Bump TTT!
I heard this observation on FNC this weekend for the first time - and it was one of those things that once you hear it, it's so obviously true you wonder why you hadn't heard it before!!
This really needs to be said. Over and over. Our men and women in uniform are NOT VICTIMS. Our men and women in uniform are HEROES. It should be said to liberals, to reporters, to anyone and everyone who will listen - by everyone who doesn't subscribe the the left's version of (their alternate) reality.
It's so simple, so obviously true, and so effectively rebuts the defeatism of the left.
Needs to be said. Again and again!
HO-F'n-AaaHH!

(Actor Bruce)Willis attended Deuce Fours homecoming ball this month in Seattle, Washington, where the soldiers are on leave, along with Stephen Eads, the producer of Armageddon and The Sixth Sense. The 50-year-old actor said that he was in talks about a film of these guys who do what they are asked to for very little money to defend and fight for what they consider to be freedom.
