Looking at the sale flyers in the paper, I see disclaimers like "seven units per store."
I recall last year, some stampedes, people trampling over people to grab stuff.
Will the madness cost someone their life tomorrow?
Also, will anyone admit to joning the mad rush on tomorrow? For the record, though somewhat tempted, I never have.
went out on black friday....Had a great time[live in a small town with fred meyer and walmart...Got the killer deals I was after and even had breakfast at dennys..I headed out at 4am and was back by 8am..My christmas shopping is done!!!!!!Everybody on my list is getting electronic stuff......Dvd players for 18.00,portable cd players for 9.00,portable dvd players for 68.00....It was hectic, but I loved it
I've also heard that they are a nightmare for customer service. That is, don't ever try to return a high-ticket item. (WABC is NYC used to have a consumer watchdog show, which I liked a little more than Dave Ramses, probably because the info was a little more useful. Anyway, B.B. was constantly coming up as a topic of conversation.)
Agreed. I got to Best Buy this at 3:30 this year. I was like #700 in line and didn't get what I want but still got several DVDs for $2.99 and a 17" LCD Flat Panel for $74.99. Almost everyone was very friendly and cheerful. The 90 minutes till opening went by VERY quickly and 30 minutes to check out did as well. I didn't see any pushing or shoving. I even saw (myself included) passing out coupons and discounts to help fellow shoppers out!
newegg.com has most of the stuff BB carries that I want, except its way cheaper and the customer service is second to none from my experience.
Glad to hear you got some bargains! We have bought some stuff on line and only need to get a few things to be finished.
