I wont post until some time in the morning.. You have a delightful thread & Everyone needs a chance to see it. I want it to run so the West coast & out of country folks can participate. Mine will be running for 4 days anyway & chances are will find most folks busy with other things.. family, travel, eat, football, shopping!
Some animals are more human than some people.
I recently lost a cat who was definitely a human in a cat uniform. I miss her. She always tried to talk.
He is a sweetie and I'll bet a ton of energy.
. I have never had a puppy. In fact I didn't even have my first dog until 4 years ago. I have two self rescues (not from shelter) and they have been good pets. GOt Oliver right after 911(in the river while I was kayaking) & this past Labor Day Oliver brought home Toby. toby is about 6-9 months old. Oliver about 5.
They are wonderful but surely more work than my cats over the years. I have many kitites also. do rescue
sorry about your kitty.. do you have a pix to post? by lost, did she wander away? at rainbow bridge?
Ah, makes sense now. I assumed you weren't the Duchess of York.
Yes, I've met few people in my life who could pronounce my last name. I've heard everything from "Cooo-Troe" to "Cottrux" to "Coat Racks" to "Kotex." And "Cockroach" of course.
My Great Great Great Grandfather was from France. He moved to New Orleans as a boy. Later in life, he started his own coffee company. Most people don't know this, but Cottraux Coffee was actually nationally famous in its time.
There are SO many reasons to like the movie the Patriot.. do you remember the "dog" scenes? hysterical!
Rush Limbaugh is the cats meow, and being able to access his show anytime is great! :-)
Yes, I hope he reads the message, AND posts the pictures of HOTD's cute little kittens!!! He gets so many e-mails...but, we can keep our fingers crossed! :-)
Thanks...I'm so glad HOTD pinged me! I love this thread...great job!
Dutchess is about the sweetest thing around & if she werent happily married, I would fix you two up... maybe she has a sister????
RE: your name. I had a very difficult slavic maiden name & married a gent with a diffiuclt German name. When I got divorced I decided I no longer wanted to spell, re-spell, pronounce & re-pronoune my last name again.
So I found a NICE easy name & changed it!
