CAIRO, Egypt — Leaders of Iraq's sharply divided Shiites, Kurds and Sunnis called Monday for a timetable for the withdrawal of U.S.-led forces in the country and said Iraq's opposition had a "legitimate right" of resistance.

The final communique, hammered out at the end of three days of negotiations at a preparatory reconciliation conference under the auspices of the Arab League, condemned terrorism, but was a clear acknowledgment of the Sunni position that insurgents should not be labeled as terrorists if their operations do not target innocent civilians or institutions designed to provide for the welfare of Iraqi citizens.

Okay, fine, but that would mean making some changes to US immigration policy. (Fine with me-BTW)I got the same impression with the sudden Jordanian change of heart over their opinion on the Wedding bombing. 'Kill all the kuffars you want' but leave us the hell alone. They don't realize that isolation is a real option for us if we have the will. No one seems to display the political will to do this. While for them they will accept this monster as long as it doesn't target them at that time. Funny but you really have to make moral decisions about which behavior you will accept and enforce those decision wherever you are. This is reason this part of (most of) the world is such a freaking basket case.

Are you two are ready to go to the corner, kiss and make up? Please, tell me yes. I am laughing too hard....

Our casualties have been up because we have been on the offensive for some time. If the terrorists are not free to hit "soft targets," then their ineffectually will be left exposed.

Frankly I don't give a squat about Iraq. I am only concerned with the troops on the ground there. Their lives are what matters to me. In my own opinion, Iraq is not worth one of their lives. But, I support the men and women in uniform, no ifs, ands or buts about it. Iraq, I could give a care less about.

The military plan is to draw down to 92k by the end of '06. The pull out is already underway. What we are seeing the mad scramble to take credit for the "victory", but here and in Iraq.

Appearently, they don't understand. It is NOT their country. It is our country until we give it back to them. I am in Baghdad right now, and I can tell you that the majority of the people here, DO NOT want us to leave anytime soon. This is a very Ultra wing of the listed parties, and not the newly democratic supporting public. The sooner we pull out, the more wealthy these corrupt figureheads become. As of now, we are keeping the corruption at a minimum, and they cannot do what they want to do.

I believe the US armed forces qualify as an institution "designed to provide for the welfare of Iraqi citizens." Thus, those who attack them--by Iraqi definition--are rightly regarded as terrorists.

Oooo........you're a funny one, G.

You should meet Mr. Oh and duke it out with him about that.

(He'd win. He's a real man......and I.........am a real woman. Ever meet one before?).

And on that note, I shall ignore anything further that you say, as you have now sunk to new lows in slimy rhetoric, G. You'll regret it if you go any deeper into this pit, so I'll be careful not to lead you further into your sinful ways by responding in like kind.....
