Based on What?
Seems like a teaser ad to get people to pay for complete report.

Supposedly murder rate 63 per 100,000 in Camden NJ ... caompared to 43 per 100,000 in active duty in the military.

Doesn't it seem odd that cities like LA, Chicago, and New York are not on this list?

It seems rather odd that Fort Worth is in the safest 10, while Dallas, which is also part of the metroplex, is in the most dangerous 10. Houston is no surprise, as dangerous, nor is Austin a surprise as safest.

Sadly, the ten most dangerous have the most minorities in them....better wise up and listen to Bill Cosby.

El Paso being the second safest big city in America is interesting. It is about 85% Hispanic. I wish I could remember the name of the poster from El Paso, but I cannot.

There is a Zoo inside the Baltimore Zoo, I drive around it everyday. The fence is called the Baltimore Beltway and all the animals live inside its borders. I don't feed them but they constantly ask for handouts.

CAREFUL. This story has already been pulled at least once today.

LOL. My Marine kept telling me that he was safer in Afghanistan than I was in Memphis last year.

Dallas sucks. I was raised there. The city gov't. sucks and everything about it sucks. I moved to Tarrant Co. (Ft. Worth, etc.) as soon as I could drive. I still have to go to Dallas, but only when I HAVE to go to Dallas. It's a racist (by minorities) city, and I'd never recommend any business or family move there. It is as good as lost. The suburbs are filling up. I'm moving to the country as soon as I can. Socialism sucks, too, obviously.

Wow! I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed the predominance of Wisconsin in the safest metro areas. Seven of the overall safest 15 metro areas are, according to this study, in mid-Wisconsin, in a pattern kinda-sorta-almost centered around Lake Winnebago. Makes a man (especially a man who wants his family to be safe) think.

So Fort Worth is safe and Dallas is dangerous? Should I build a house on the county line so I have a fighting chance?!

Most dangerous place in the country was listed as Camden, N.J., which is only three, no make that ten miles from what was touted just a few months ago as the best town to live in, Moorestown, N.J. - very strange......
