Sarge, you haven't said Good-bye for the day (night) yet, so if you come back I'd like a hug. OK?
Of course, you'll get a hug in return, too....

Trouble is....I'm NOT ashamed. I just gave it up and never looked back. We're going out for Thanksgiving dinner. Well, one reason is that we don't have any family who can be here, so what's the point of messing up the kitchen for 2 people. :o)
(Love Minnesota, too...okay?) hee-hee!

THANKS, but actually i have at least a dozen of those. (i collect cookbooks - some from the 1860-1890 period) AND i'm ALLERGIC to NUTS,chocolate, coconut & peanuts.
i'm as i told someone else trying to think of something out of the ordinary that will make the "eaters" go, "WOW!"
i MAY do something Thai, Laotian or Vietnamese.

What did you bring...some of Nana's goodies? Yes, at work at lunchtime and again this evening at Church!
I brought Scalloped Corn, my Mom's recipe that Nana makes every couple of years or so.
You mix creamed corn and whole kernel corn, then layer the mixture in a casserole dish - corn, butter and velveeta slices, bread crumbs - with extra crumbs on top. Bake in a 350* oven for 45 minutes to an hour.
Yummy, especially if you add a little onion powder to the mix.
