The writer says the world is watching. I've heard of this guy because it's been a topic of discussion on talk radio, I didn't realize the whole world is aware of this case. Sheesh, what an exaggeration, but then, that's the media for you.

He is being executed for the crimes he committed. How do his acts after being incarcerated correct the original crimes? They don't. Those people are still dead.
I don't care if a murderer becomes the world's greatest living saint and finds a cure for cancer and manages to eradicate homosexuality while in prison, that murderer still deserves to die.

Ahnolds advisors, seeing his failures at the polls, will want to immediately begin to re-position him to appeal to more liberals at the next election. This is just one of those steps. Maybe I'm just being cynical.

Lockyer, the CA. AG, and the Chief of Police of LA and the Sheriff of LA Co. have said this guy should die. I do think Arnold will turn the lights out on this scum bag.

Yeah, let's let Tookie live out his days in prison. Three hots and a cot, cable TV, liberal media/Hollywood adoration, etc. while his victim's relatives suffer some more.
Arnold will probably not be re-elected; but if he is, given that conservatives bailed on his ballot initiatives - he might commute this sentence to gain support from the african american community.
If so, then Arnold's a fool. The libs will never support him no matter what.
If he does this then we might as well outlaw capital punishment. Funny, but I don't remember the Left getting hysterical when Governor XXXlinton approved the execution of Ricky Ray Rector.
Of course not. But then again, Ricky's date with Justice sadly fell in the same week that the Gennifer Flowers news hit the stands. He and his advisors flew back to town to review his case, but from what was later revealed, they spent the week deciding how to handle the Flowers story, and putting together the small group of people who would handle the Bimbo Eruptions for the rest of his political career.

Comes from working with prisoners and having a not exactly all-American youth yourself. No matter how hard-nosed you start you get a little mushy after a while. Besides, it all sounded like gang-land stuff to me. If it was child rape-murder I don't think I'd have commented.
