LOL:
The helmets amplify frequency bands that coincide with those allocated to the US government between 1.2 Ghz and 1.4 Ghz. According to the FCC, These bands are supposedly reserved for ''radio location'' (ie, GPS), and other communications with satellites (see, for example, [3]). The 2.6 Ghz band coincides with mobile phone technology. Though not affiliated by government, these bands are at the hands of multinational corporations. It requires no stretch of the imagination to conclude that the current helmet craze is likely to have been propagated by the Government, possibly with the involvement of the FCC. We hope this report will encourage the paranoid community to develop improved helmet designs to avoid falling prey to these shortcomings.

They weren't making them right.
The frame must be shaped in an inverted double-reverse pentagram, with a Star-of-David placed at the crest.
Use platinum, if you have it.

Notice that this deals with ALUMINUM foil! A casual mistake? An inadvertent slip-o'-the-tongue? Careless proofreading? I don't think so.
It's obvious that Someone wants us to put our trust in aluminum foil.
Isn't ALCOA a member of the Council on Foreign Relations?

They just don't want us to know how easy it is to make them.

For all helmets, we noticed a 30 db amplification at 2.6 Ghz and a 20 db amplification at 1.2 Ghz, regardless of the position of the antenna on the cranium. As they say, these frequencies are in the keeping of MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS. Need I say more?
Well, actually not. All I have to do is think it and the boys in Langley get it on tape. You have to keep them on their toes - I like to visualize Helen Thomas in a leather corset or Teddy Kennedy in a thong. Michael Moore in spandex. HOW ABOUT IT, YOU BLACK HELICOPTER GUMMINT EAVESDROPPERS? HAD ENOUGH YET??

I don't know why I have a gut feeling on this, but I do. I'm guessing real tin works better than aluminum, and lead works better than both.
