On the Effectiveness of Aluminium Foil Helmets: An Empirical Study

Abstract

Among a fringe community of paranoids, aluminum helmets serve as the protective measure of choice against invasive radio signals. We investigate the efficacy of three aluminum helmet designs on a sample group of four individuals. Using a $250,000 network analyser, we find that although on average all helmets attenuate invasive radio frequencies in either directions (either emanating from an outside source, or emanating from the cranium of the subject), certain frequencies are in fact greatly amplified. These amplified frequencies coincide with radio bands reserved for government use according to the Federal Communication Commission (FCC). Statistical evidence suggests the use of helmets may in fact enhance the government's invasive abilities. We speculate that the government may in fact have started the helmet craze for this reason.

I have quite an assortment of tinfoil hats myself. And yes I do have a Coast to Coast AM subscription.

I'll bet that the sorting hat put him on the short bus out of town.

Sometimes it is a bit difficult to make these seasonal changes with my hat..but Christmas is easy. I do keep one to work outdoors in just in case..nothing fancy..The one I freep in made for comfort..It is highly effective, though.

I am noting with interest all improvements. It may be a winter project.

:)

They just don't want us to know how easy it is to make them.

To see for yourself what they're hiding about aluminum click here: www.johnf-ingkerry.com

Been my experience that within the conservative movement there are a lot of tinfoil hatters ;-)

For all helmets, we noticed a 30 db amplification at 2.6 Ghz and a 20 db amplification at 1.2 Ghz, regardless of the position of the antenna on the cranium.

As they say, these frequencies are in the keeping of MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS. Need I say more?

Well, actually not. All I have to do is think it and the boys in Langley get it on tape. You have to keep them on their toes - I like to visualize Helen Thomas in a leather corset or Teddy Kennedy in a thong. Michael Moore in spandex. HOW ABOUT IT, YOU BLACK HELICOPTER GUMMINT EAVESDROPPERS? HAD ENOUGH YET??

I don't know why I have a gut feeling on this, but I do. I'm guessing real tin works better than aluminum, and lead works better than both.

They work great if you ground them with a 30 foot logging chain.

I has to be aluminum foil since there never has been such a thing as tin foil.

Excellent post. Peeps are playing fast and loose with terminology here. Is TIN foil even available these days? For that matter, has it ever been? Aluminum would seem to have a near-monopoly these days.

Now, about your screen name, IronJack: do you have a conflict of interest here?

My local WalMart sells a small roll of ALUMNINIUM FOIL for $0.62. It's the perfect size for a hat. If everyone would make their hat from this roll, we could stop global warming by not wasting material from the larger rolls of foil. I keep several of these small rolls on hand in my home and vehicles for emergency use and for distribution to all the deserving females who may be in my vicinity during an unsuspected attack of propoganda by the unkind others.

But what about telepathy? Does tinfoil block telepathy or not?

Leave it to a bunch of engineers to spend a fortune testing the wrong question!
