There was an early report in the Washington Post (yeah, I know, who'd believe anything they'd publish - Debka is more trustworthy):

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/11/19/AR2005111901120.html

The Z reference is lower down in the article.

Not only that, but calling for the king of Jordan to be murdered may not have helped him either.  Unfortunately, this type of rumor (usually that he's been caprtured) has been plyed out many times already.  Guess it's the old "wait and see" scenario.

And you know he also has Jordanians within AQ who were none too pleased about that wedding bombing.

He has a very serious PR problem now if he did escape with his life again.

Now that I think of it, maybe it was the vote in Congress this week that caused him to give up any hope of winning.

But, WAIT! WAIT!!!

This can't possibly be true because it doesn't fit the MSM template, so it must be just another lie from the Administration ....!

After all, we "all know" that the war in Iraq is really about oil, and is just a distraction away from the "real" war on terror: the war against al Qaida that President Bush has "abandonded" in order to pursue his predetermined secret and trumped up plot against Sadaam! (/sarcasm off)

I was hoping he could be captured alive, so we could put him in a cage and poke him with sharp sticks...

LOL

"And you know he also has Jordanians within AQ who were none too pleased about that wedding bombing."

From FoxNews.com:

"The family of al-Zarqawi, whose real name is Ahmed Fadheel Nazzal al-Khalayleh, reiterated their strong allegiance to Jordan's King Abdullah II in half-page advertisements in the kingdom's three main newspapers. Al-Zarqawi threatened to kill the king in an audiotape released Friday.

"The statement is a serious blow to al-Zarqawi, who no longer will enjoy the protection of his tribe and whose family members may seek to kill him."

Statement: "Report: al-Zarqawi killed by explosions in Mosul"

Response: Nah! I just saw him at the Gorman, California McDonalds parking lot. He got into a "Big Rig" and drove off into the night. He had a co-driver who looked like Elvis.

"Mosul would not be a good place for him to be. We are in bigger numbers there."

I agree. There are much better strongholds where he would be more likely to hide and with stronger support than in Mosul.

"Yes, and he'll probably show up on t-shirts worn by college students. Sad but true..."

Well, that college student better be prepared to get a "physical education"...

Wouldn't our own Military which is on the scene determining for whom the bombs tolled, be in a better position to know the facts than Arab Television?

I am awaiting the facts from those I trust to know the facts.
