WOW...I would LOVE to have video of Bush saying that the MSM is arrogant for thinking they "speak for the American people"...
Bush has nothing to lose at this point...unless the RINOS let him down, and end up losing the HOuse or Senate in 2006....but, President Bush is his best when he speaks, "TEXAN"...which means straight talk, no punches pulled.
"Mapes has been on all these Shows, but she is an embarrassment and even other Journalists are running the other way from her. I believe the consensus of opinion is that she is a Nutcase gone over the edge."
Ha! You obviously have not watched "Reliable Sources" with Howard Kurtz on CNN. Last week he gave Mapes 15 minutes to spout off, and Kurtz wouldn't even admit the Documents were forgeries!
Today he showed how "objective" he was by quoting from 2 e-mails that attacked him for being too soft (!) on Mapes and 1 e-mail that attacked him (rightly) for accepting her lies.
The old MSM game. Act liberal, state your moderate, and then "prove it" because you're attacked by a Neo-Commie on-side and a Conservative on the other.
Hussein was preventing the UN from inspections. How would we even know there was no WMD unless we went in there like we did?
GREAT POINT....The GOP in the Senate seem timid when it comes to dealing with the dems...I hate when Sen. Warner kept talking about how much he respects Sen. Levin...gag...
Warner was more afraid of being taken to task by Reid, Durbin, and Levin...than Frist, Warner.
I am hoping that when the GOP Senators see what happened in the House on Friday....that they will realize how timid they have been....and will change course...especially Senators like Allen, Cornyn, Hutichison...
Perhaps before you determine someone's position you might just check on it. The poll discussion was not the thrust of my argument. It was the plan of the Democrats to take advantage of the current situation in Iraq to position themselves for the elections next year. But all that being said, since almost no Freeper here believes that the President's real numbers are reflective of the poll numbers, we have little to discuss. Funny though how everyone here believed the polls when the President's numbers were high....
So apparently in your eyes, everything is fine and there is no need to retake the political initiative. Super!
Aren't there nepotism laws against that there?
You are exactly right in that assessment.
ROFLMAO....great pictures, Cyber!!!
It's a repeat of the 60's throw-back revisionist history....a DUmocrat do-nothing gets it started (in this case Clinton for allowing repeat UN violations and terrorist appeasement) but a Republican gets all the flak for getting something done.
I just love that montage!!
Go to the Pentagon channel website or TV channel, if you have it.
Yes and when the Commander-in-Chief in the middle of a war barely defeats a leftist like Kerry who ran one of the most inept campaigns ever, then that is nothing to crow about.
Thank you
No, it was a marine who called him a coward. Schmidt just amplified his voice.
The beauty of Conservative women is proof postive God loves Conservative men!
I would think that there would be a LOT of Republicans doing the "dance of joy" over a TRUE report of Al-Zarqawi's demise!!!
You confirmed what I thought thanks.
"it was a marine"
ok, glad to get his service right.....thanks. I heard her and it sounded like she was speaking for a military person, not for herself.
Friday night proved that, for too long, we have been overestimating them. They have NO real power!
