An interesting question: I have read second accounts about how historically Britain's High Tories (dating back to at least the 19th century, and we could include Viscount Halifax or Neville Chamberlain among this griup) unashamedly flaunted their sense of superiority towards everyone else of "lesser rank", yet also believed maintaining/conserving a social order required them to "take care of the needy". Of course which means that modern day leftism seems to be a "red" form of Tory conservatism and this probably points out why many of today's leftist patrons are sons and daughters of yesteryears' elites.
Did such really exist in historic times?

The Liberals are supposed to be more anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-poverty, anti-whatever, but in reality, their policies make them MORE racist, MORE sexist and cause MORE poverty.

The Left's supposed concern for minorities is actually a mask for their elitism. They believe that they and only they, have the wisdom to run the country for the benefit of all, and that they must do it through the government. Minorities are a vassal group to them, unable to succeed without their help.
In short, being a leftie is a massive ego trip, where one can feel righteous and sanctimonious about one's one supposed goodness and yet look down on others in the process.

The "liberal" reveals his true hostile dispirited self by what ad hominems he/she projects upon the appointed opposition. By defaming enemies and defiling critics, the leftist re-affirms his self-image. Breaking down the "liberal" facade exposes the bigotry underlying the leftist's self-exalting image. In exposed reality, the leftist/pseudo liberal reflects his disordered narcissism.

If it were not for Fox News and the free&open forum of NET communication (nearly the only bastion outpost of free speech), we from the four corners of America might not be privileged to read, to know and admire Michelle Malkin - attractive, intelligent, unpretentious, idealisticly inspired and bravely committed to truthseeking.

And the Leftists are the true RACISTS in this country. They have only two MO's when it comes to dealing with minorities:
1. Merciless personal attacks on any minority who is conservative.
2. Transparent pandering to minorities who are not conservative.
I don't think Jews are being taken for a ride. They are way too smart for that. They are conciously liberal because they associate liberalism with the emancipation of Jews from centuries of restrictions during the disapora. Jews vote liberal when they live in European countries, and back in Isreal they are hawks.

Michelle proves that it is a woman's intellectual works and thinking process which validate her intelligence. Michelle further proves that being a "very smart" woman doesn't require a cult of supporting mantras and supportive MEDIA spin. For comparison, unlike power-lusting Hillary Clinton, Michelle's natural maternalism and femininity are NOT nullified by her assertive socio-political insight. Michelle Malkin exemplifies a Truely Smart Woman.
