Ugh! I just saw one of those upside down trees in my local pharmacy (not a chain) when I went to pick up a prescription today.
They show off the ornaments much better than a right-side-up tree does, but who wants five feet of bare tree trunk in their living room? It just looks stupid...and yet, I'll bet they sell a million of 'em! Never underestimate the power of gullible consumers in large numbers. *Rolleyes*
I'll vote for the Festivus Pole, too. Yeesh!
I'm sort of old fashioned I suppose. I just go out and kill my tree every year just like the in the old days. 8>)
