Walk into just about any government agency and tell me what you see. It certainly won't be a majority of white males.
When I walk into my local DMV, it looks like you're walking into an international airport in Lisbon. The last time I did, I noted two whites in a room with about 250 people in it.

I've heard that affirmative action is out of control in the federal bureaucracy centered around Washington DC. That many departments employ minorities way out of proportion to their percentage of the local population. That the minorities hire their own. Not all Fed agencies are like this. But some are
The wealthiest black neighborhoods in the USA are in the Maryland and Virgina suburbs that ring Washington DC. Other minorities are also jammed in to the Federal bureau via affirmative action
Ohhh, what a great idea for a new way tobuild a truly competent department - hire only visible minorities, women, aboriginals and the disabled.
Pray this policy doesn't spread to the police and fire departments.
I'm sure if Canada advertised in the right places, it would have no trouble finding Muslims who want to work in the airline, railway and automotive industries. In fact they specialize in understanding the most intricate parts of any transportation vehicle, especially those that can be flown into tall buildings or exploded outside a police station or a hotel.
And the best thing about it is that many of them are willing to teach others their craft in case they are suddenly incapacitated. They don't even insist on free health insurance. They will, however, demand numerous breaks for praying and chanting.
Do you think that it doesn't happen already in the USA?

Obviously they mean someone who has dark skin and other features that many associate with a "minority". Disgusting, racist and illegal.
Obviously they mean that they won't hire anyone with light skin no matter what the person's background, for fear of being accused of not hiring enough "minorities".
When socialists get into power in the USA, this will be the norm and govmt agencies will NO LONGER HIDE IT!!

I'm guessing it's also to keep someone like a white immigrant from South Africa from claiming that he is a "African-American Canadian"...or whatever you would call them. :)

In any sane society or enterprise, your job is to ensure efficient, timely, cost-effective delivery of necessary public services.
If this really bothers you that much, you and like minded managers should donate YOUR jobs to "visible minorities". It is called "leading by example".
