Keep sending emails, forwarding to friends, and calling... this has gathered steam on a national level. Ms. Beach was on Hannity and Loser last night, though she didn't get a lot of time due to the ass-kicking going on in the House.

Colleges are filled with people like this. They are educated idiots.

Education is fine, but it doesn't make you intelligent.

A monkey can learn if you spend enough time with it.

Not sure liberals are as smart as monkeys about some things.

Indeed, Mr. Daly’s comments have caused much controversy on and off campus. Dr. Austin said, “I personally find Mr. Daly’s e-mail disgraceful and offensive, yet I must maintain that the college be a place for free expression, ideas, and open debate.”

Since when does calling for murder and asassination fall under the protection of the First Amendment? The professor is certainly entitled to his opinion, but he is not entitled to advocate murder. Were he a conservative, this would be hate speech and there would be no "investigation" or sops to the First Ammendment. A Conservative would have been fired within seconds of sending the email.

Adjunct professor in a community college! Frankly, that's a pretty low rank. What it means in plain English is that the lowest level in the post high school system hires him to teach a couple of courses on a contract basis without benefits or claims to rank, tenure, seniority, etc. In other words, a bottom feeder, a real bottom feeder.

However, after his overheated solicitation of spontaneous treason and murder, he'll probably end up in some "Micro- Ivy" as a permanently disgruntled academic wage slave.

I think adjunct professor daly is in the process of finding out just how many people are on the far left fringe of the political spectrum where he thinks he isn't. I'll buy the ticket buddy, to any country of choice, but I don't think this one is right for your kind. Speaking of course to daly and not to snowrip. In fact, from a purely objective perspective, I'm almost sure you aren't going to find a country that beleives in such a dead doctrine as you so viciously espouse. Maybe a non country such as Palestine?

The biggest question I have is, at what point does one become a "Domestic Enemy" where they can be taken out with overwealming force?

So the college President is alright with students suggesting they should shoot him?

Not only would they be off the campus, the police would be arriving within moments of such a message.

I'm going to write the college president right now and ask him how he feels about one of his employees advocating the murder of one's bosses.

~And advocating fragging is treason. We seem to have a dearth of educated people with common sense.

Warren County Community College. John Daly, an adjunct instructor of Basic Writing and Developmental English.

I picture a small, failed, angry man seething with narcissistic rage at a world that has denied him the grandiose life he feels is his birthright. One can only hope things get worse for him.

I Just sent this e- mail

Hello Dr Austin

Below is a comment by Professor John Daly, and your reply to it, and my question afterwards.

HERNDON, VA –Warren Community College English professor, John Daly, said that “Real freedom will come when soldiers in Iraq turn their guns on their superiors.”

Your response - “I personally find Mr. Daly’s e-mail disgraceful and offensive, yet I must maintain that the college be a place for free expression, ideas, and open debate.”

Would that free expression you talk about extend to a student, or students who want to express their opinion that other students should use their guns, or fists, on Professor Daly.? - Tom
