[Hollywood star JOHNNY DEPP is so shocked by the riots raging through France, he's considering abandoning his home in the country.]
Depp and Paradis moved to France to bring up their children because he said LA was too violent. Has he become disenchanted after the recent riots and curfews that spread out from Paris? "It's insane that setting cars on fire is the new strike. It takes a lot away. I'm sure it'll clear up to a certain degree, but now we are based back in LA because I have work here. I went there [to France] to live because it seemed so simple. Now it's anything but. I don't know how they'll recover from this."

Dipp was just looking for an excuse to move back to civilization....and the Moosies' handed it to him on a silver Molotov Cocktail shaker.

Wow. You know, I was beginning to doubt my country, its nobility, its beliefs, its people, its place in the universe, but now that Johnny Depp is back I feel I have the strength to go on.

Johnny, we have our problems here, but one problem we don't have. We don't let riots go for two weeks on end and hope they...literally...burn out.

Remember Eldridge Cleaver who fled the U.S. back in the black power days when criminal charges were brought against him, and I believe he went to Libya, and other Muslim countries. Eventually, even though he knew he would face jailtime, he came back to the U.S. because he figured out how great this country was compared to others.
Maybe Depp is having the same awakening. If so, I'd give him another chance. We shall see. I must say he is a darn good actor though. I like just about every movie he is in. The one interesting thing about him is how his face could just as easily be a woman's face as a man's, as he has very delicate features. I think this serves him well on the screen, as he can play a lot of parts from swashbuckling to sensitive to macabre or weird. A very mobile face. Hope he has changed his way of thinking, as I admire his acting skills.

Um, didn't he say something close to this about the United States? Flighty, ain't he?Yeah, he called America "a dumb puppy who needs its nose swatted once in a while..."

What up, Hollywood idiot. You really are one more clueless airhead.

I've never seen a single movie he was in and have no intention of spending one nickle to do so. If our guys can make sacrifices in Iraq I think we on the homefront can do the same. None of my money will give aid and comfort to the America haters.
