[Hollywood star JOHNNY DEPP is so shocked by the riots raging through France, he's considering abandoning his home in the country.]
Depp and Paradis moved to France to bring up their children because he said LA was too violent. Has he become disenchanted after the recent riots and curfews that spread out from Paris? "It's insane that setting cars on fire is the new strike. It takes a lot away. I'm sure it'll clear up to a certain degree, but now we are based back in LA because I have work here. I went there [to France] to live because it seemed so simple. Now it's anything but. I don't know how they'll recover from this."

Drat! These Hollywood people threaten to leave, and they never do. And now Depp has come back.

Hip hop s-cks and the folks who produce it and listen to it are degenerate who are polluting our culture. In a sane world, folks like Fitty would be quartered at dawn.

Hip hop s-cks and the folks who produce it and listen to it are degenerate who are polluting our culture. In a sane world, folks like Fitty would be quartered at dawn. Musical tastes vary. Most people gravitate to music that was popular when they were in high school. It's an extension of old fogey syndrome - whatever was popular in a person's youth is golden and anything after that (music, movies, sports, etc) are all junk.
Remember, rock and roll was considered the devil's music in the 50s.

What a coward....
Up and running away when things aren't what he thought.... I wonder if he'll ever decide to actually DO something to make things better anywere he goes.

I thought about them when the Country Music Awards was on the other night. I didn't see much of the show. I wondered if they had been on at all. I haven't seen them anywhere for a long time.

I know he's said some not-so-nice things about America, but I still like his movies. I think he was the perfect choice for Jack Sparrow.

Nothing like reality to clarify things. Welcome home Johnny. Join the NRA and move to small town America. You might like it.

Yeah, it had more to do or 400 years of opression -or with 40 years of welfare - take your pick.

If he's a "citizen of the world", does that mean that he pays taxes in 207 countries?

He probably considers himself a citizen of the world. Only pausing long enough to live in any given country during the good times and fleeing when the real men of that country would be called upon to defend it. He's only a taker not a giver. That is so on the money.

I think you've nailed it.

Johnny Depp should be careful not to draw too much attention to himself less the folks in the good old USA discover what a schmuck he has become. Regrettably he may be on his way back home. He was my hope that all of the Hollywood idiots would follow his lead and leave for good.
