[Hollywood star JOHNNY DEPP is so shocked by the riots raging through France, he's considering abandoning his home in the country.]
Depp and Paradis moved to France to bring up their children because he said LA was too violent. Has he become disenchanted after the recent riots and curfews that spread out from Paris? "It's insane that setting cars on fire is the new strike. It takes a lot away. I'm sure it'll clear up to a certain degree, but now we are based back in LA because I have work here. I went there [to France] to live because it seemed so simple. Now it's anything but. I don't know how they'll recover from this."
He said something dumb about the US, but he did give a very sincere apology with an explanation that made sense. At least he apologized.
Oh shoot......I had the wrong sleaze, didn't I???
5.56mm
Oh that's good.
Johnny Depp loves his wife and fam...whatever else may be said.
I turned in early and never figured this thread would have this many replies. Y'all have some opinions on Johnny Depp? ha!
I've said it before, I'll say it again: His countenance awakens something in me -- something I can only describe as a desire to surreptitiously stealth my way to him from behind, jumping him and holding him down. So I can get to work with my wire brush and bucket of disinfectant.
I get all those metrosexuals confused. They all look alike to me. :-)
:::chuckle:::
I liked Depp in "Finding Neverland" with the amazing little Freddie Highmoor.
And he was yummy in "Chocolat." Mmmmm
Jude Law -- yuck, except for "Gattica" (sp?)
I recall it was Cuba. He went there as a socialist believing in the "socialist utopia dream". After realizing the "dream" was in fact a nightmare he came back as a conservative Republican.
Johnny Depp Quotes

Like so many, he needs to stick to his day job and keep his mouth shut about everything else.
They let the fugitive Bobby Fisher in, so I thought Johnny wouldn't be much of a stretch.
He's a work in progress, like the rest of us.
He probably considers himself a citizen of the world. Only pausing long enough to live in any given country during the good times and fleeing when the real men of that country would be called upon to defend it. He's only a taker not a giver.
I hope Depp, Palthrow, and Madonna stay in Europe.
And I agree with you that Baldwin, Babs, and the others should join them.
Except for Sean Penn. I want him to live in Iran or North Korea.
As I was rereading this thread it occurred to me that the Dixie Chicks totally lost their careers, didn't they. That one sentence she uttered in Germany cost them so much. You never see them...it's like they never existed. I know they're planning on a comeback, but I just don't know who their audience would be. Country is done with them. Young girls listening to a girl with a fiddle? I don't know.
wonder if this DUmmie will ever put 2 and 2 together?
Perhaps northern Quebec?
Interesting comparison, the Dixie Chicks' nosedive.
Natalee never showed the least bit of humility, did she?
FYI her husband Adrian forgot-his-last-name is the new lawyer on Desperate Housewives.
Wouldn't it be a kicker if he was denied entry to the US?
I don't watch that show...is he good?
