Well, dear friend, you managed to take that step over the edge of the cliff before me, and I can just imagine how enthusiastic the Marines were who greeted you at the Pearly Gates, anxious to pipe you aboard!

I do not mourn that you are no longer physically here, enduring so much this past year, for the impact you made upon countless lives here is a testimony to your greatness in God's eyes.
You gave us so much...

I hold close our many, many hours of conversations about Him in the nearly 5 years since we connected, and know full well your position with Him.
From that and the many other grounds we covered, I draw comfort and joy.

Knowing this promise, I rest easy imagining your First Step Beyond - -

We thank you for the difference you made in so many lives, El Roy. From the lonely man who posted the Reminiscence Threads in 2001, you grew into a quite remarkable human bring.

Heaven has gained and we have lost..I am richer for having read Texas Cowboy's posts..shared his joy about Texas Termite..My heart is heavy but I know he is with His Father in Heaven, no more pain to endure.

My heart goes out to all of you that have known and loved TC much longer than I..
