Oh! I'm so sorry to hear this! I had the honor of meeting this very nice gentleman when he attended a freeper gathering at my house. Everyone there really enjoyed talking with him.

I am sitting in a hotel lobby with a screen so blurry I can barely see it.

And I don't care.

So many thoughts racing around . . . how much we'll miss him, how much I'll miss him, how much he's done, how much he had yet to do, how much he loved his life and his family and his FRiends . . .

But uppermost comes the thought that now he's with Dix, and they've got their arms around us all right now, because they know how much we hurt.

God speed, El Roy, and the Eternal Father grant you rest and peace. We are the poorer for your loss, but infinitely the richer for having you in our lives.

Eaker, thanks for the post. I suspect it was hard, we on earth lost a good man last night. But, the Kingdom of Heaven is richer for his presence, you gotta know that.

Heaven has gained and we have lost..I am richer for having read Texas Cowboy's posts..shared his joy about Texas Termite..My heart is heavy but I know he is with His Father in Heaven, no more pain to endure.

My heart goes out to all of you that have known and loved TC much longer than I..

Thank you for the ping. I didn't know TexasCowboy but I went back to read through some of his posts and I am truly inspired, what a great man, what great words he had to say in the face of illness.

I am very grateful to have become familiar with him, even though he is gone. It's never too late, as they say....
