"maybe a parade or a candlelight vigil to fight the increase."
Methinks a sit-in would be more effective.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!
big gay ping-o-ling
useful for flattening 'the gay-marriage they`re just like us' nutbags out there.
nope...thank Roe v Wade.
Right of sexual and "reproductive" privacy.
You must not know who your "loved" one screw with...homos and what not.
It can't be said much plainer: AIDS is a homo disease.
Duh, maybe gay sex is bad for you, duh...
This probably accounts for 90% or better of new cases as the meth crowd tend to engage in unprotected sex with multiple partners at each "event".
Like duh!

Gee, but I thought they wanted to marry and have committed, monogamous relationships! Guess, that was a crock after all, huh?
"Those who recreate in sewers can expect to contract diseases" Dr. Anis, a past AMA President.
" It can't be said much plainer: AIDS is a homo disease."
In the US for sure. But what about Africa? Your not telling me the millions of cases there are because of homos. Africa is not exactly crawling with them.
The Swedes just reported HPV, transmitted by oral sex, is a cause of increases in incidents of oral cancer.
If two consensual homosexual partners have no STI, their behavior isn't going to create one out of thin air.
When you have a smaller pool of potential sexual partners from which to draw, of course the rate of spread is going to be higher which all other factors equal.
I keep saying, if we were serious about it, if homosexual activists were seriously about it, we'd encourage, support and demand adoption of the kind of traditional courtship rituals which have offered a measure of protection and stability to heterosexuals over the centuries.
It's well known but, evidently, poorly heeded. The fact of the matter is, people do choose to take these risks just as they take the risk to drink alcohol, to play sports, eat junk food, smoke, swim in the ocean...
The best thing we can do is to make it socially shameful to engage in wanton sex acts. Culturally, we've gone exactly the other way, regardless of sexual inclination. So long as homosexuals see sex acts as a personal triumph over oppression, they'll continue to engage in high risks.
Gee, I wish I has such a visionary mind.... /sarc
I'm too busy working and paying taxes to figure that one out in such an impressive time frame.
Soon, flushing my hard earned labor earned finances down the toilet will appear to be a more effective use of my livelihood.
I doubt homosexuals are having promiscuous, dangerous sex as a political statement. I think it has more to do with what someone else wrote, that the acts themselves are a deathstyle, leading to ever increasing, frenetic need for something to fill the resultant "black hole of despair." (Okay, that's not exactly what I read, I wish I could remember because he said it a lot better than I).
Nothing ironic about this name at all, move along :-)
Cheers!
He wrote Code Blue in which he lays out the faulty premises of socialized medicine. Matter of fact, he hired Madison Square Garden the day after hte goobers in the gooberment presented their schtick in the same place.
Too bad America didn't listen to him. But the book is an interesting insight into that era.
But by far more prevalent in the homosexual community than in the heterosexual community. Homosexuality doesn't CAUSE AIDS; but AIDS accompanies homosexuality. Not exclusively, no, because as you say, the transmitting behavior is not unique to homosexuals. But far, far more frequently in homosexuals than elsewhere.
Many AIDS cases in Africa arise from the susperstition that says an infected man can cure his illness by having sex with a virgin. The traumatic penetration spreads the disease to the woman, who may then transmit it to her children or to other men.
In Africa, AIDS is much more a heterosexual problem than in the US.
gotta be bushes fault!
