Blake found "liable" based upon "the preponderance of evidence" by a majority of the jury.

I'm sure he can find a way to avoid ever paying, ala OJ.

He has no possession of the money he once had and even the IRS has leans against him from previous sales of property.
He lives in a cheap rented apartment and long ago either spent the money or diverted it properly in trusts for his children.
I think his ex's family get their moral victory, but will still remain impoverished after the death of their sister.

That is a ridiculous ruling and will not hold up on appeal.

Wonder where his sister got the money to buy a house in Hidden Hills several years ago?

Personally, I think these civil suits are a crock -- even against O.J. and Blake. To me, it's double jeapardy.

Money in trusts are not in the public record. He made his moves long ago while in the criminal trial.
I don't think the IRS or the family of his ex can collect a nickle.
I take that back, he might have left $250,000 around a bait to let that be taken and claim he is broke.
But the $250,000 would go to the IRS first and not the family of the ex.
It's over, he's retired and the family gets to make a book nobody will read and the rounds at Larry King.

This was a civil case. He can't be "guilty" . . . perhaps you're looking for the word "liable."

Fred, answer the phone.

The beneficiaries of this verdict shouldn't hold their breath waiting for any money.Nicole's family made that mistake....and have learned their lesson.
