GOP Pulls Fast One... Tells Dems: Pull Troops Now? Okay, then let's vote!!!!! Tonight. 7 p.m. in House... Ultimate showdown...
Welcome.
The PBS interview was posted by someone else a page or two back, I 'misappropriated' it.
;-)
LOL, you didn't miss all the fun, just the outing of a Democrat Feeler seeing how well the Dem talking points worked.
And.. upchuck will likely get more talking points today for later on..
He'll be back.
So you'll likely get to see him.
LOL. Yes, he holds the Bozo seat in the House.
No, but I am very confident no other thread has received anywhere near the number of posts in such a short period of time.
St.Chuck, the link works.
You're a liar.
Wanna try again?
We know that you are a Dem Feeler looking to see how well the Dem propaganda worked.
And your past praise for Joe Wilson and other leftist icons shows what you are.
You have an agenda, and it isn't a pretty one.
Small suggestion: LEAVE like MD4BUSH did before you get hurt.
"No, but I am very confident no other thread has received anywhere near the number of posts in such a short period of time."
Good point. I know it was all I could do to read 1/2 the posts yesterday evening.
I still can't believe what little coverage this got on the ABC networks. Me, being a Cspan geek can't expect everyone to know what is going on at all times, but this was a very big deal.
in all the heat and fury and emotion, closing with Johnson was brilliant. he brought tears to my eyes. a very proud night for Republicans and Johnson in particular.
The only mistake is someone like you posting on this site.
Do you get paid for your inane postings?
Well, it's started. This appeared in my local paper this morning on the opinion page:

Time for Congress to impeach Bush
The U. S. Constitution allows the president to be impeached for "Treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanors."
The time has come for Congress to impeach President Bush. Articles of Impeachment should include at least:
1. Treason - squandering the U.S. military. The strength and ability of the U.S. military have been recklessly weakened by consuming it in conflicts that is not in our national interest.
2. High crimes - squandering the U.S. treasury. The financial strength of the U.S. treasury has been depleted by reckless spending combined with tax cuts. In coming years this will impair the ability of the U.S. government to function.
3. Treason - creating a foreign policy that is harmful to the interests of the U.S.
4. High crimes - lying to the U.S. Congress. While the president may chose to lie to U.S. citizens, the Congress must be provided with accurate information to base its decisions upon.
5. Misdemeanors - appointing unqualified government officials. The ability of the government to meet its commitments has been significantly reduced by the appointment of political hacks who lack the qualifications for the positions they hold.
It is time to stop the continued weakening of the United States and try to limit the damage already done.

St Chuck shows the spinning, lying and revisionist qualities of a brownshirted troll from the dark side.
well said - thank you

This is the first thread I've ever been on that I couldn't keep up with each message. That must be another indication of how smart this vote was.
Exactly the way I thought they would...right in line with the spew coming from the Dems this morning:
"This wasn't the resolution we wanted. This was a watered down Republican resolution. That's why we voted against it."
Which brings to mind a question. I am fairly familiar with Parliamentary procedure. If the Dems didn't like the resolution, why didn't someone stand up and make a motion to open debate on an ammended version of the resolution to bring it in line with Mr. Murtha's original resolution?
That would have perfectly allowable and would have given them the chance to vote on a resolution that they liked.
Oh...but I forgot...the whole point of the exercise was for the Dems to NOT vote or commit either way. Silly me.
I hope you are right. I appreciate Weldon's efforts on Able Danger. However, there were a lot of people scratching their heads last night wondering what was going on last night with his comments.
Here ! Here!!
Darksheare is advancing the Zot weapons for St Chuck, the brown shirt troll from the Dark Side.
Got up this morning and opened the Atlanta paper to see how it all came out. Could not find a SINGLE WORD about the controversy, much less anything about the House resolution.
