GOP Pulls Fast One... Tells Dems: Pull Troops Now? Okay, then let's vote!!!!! Tonight. 7 p.m. in House... Ultimate showdown...
LOL....I got a bit o Scotch in me....mostly Irish and German, however.
Nice Pic of Bellicosi Chad!
She looks like the racoons that get into our garbage cans
here in Vermont, just before I pull the trigger on my dbl barrel 10 ga.!
No...there's quite a few threads that are huge. One of them actually reached the maximum post limit with over 65,000 posts:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/807952/posts
Threads this long were common when the rats had more chances to steal elections or do other damage to democracy. The live threads debunking the rats in Florida counting hanging chads were very long because although their game plan was obvious, we still had to see and point out exactly how they would cheat as they did it on live TV.
The NY Times account of last night's debate & vote didn't mention Sam Johnson. The WaPo did.
Och, Aye !!
I'll drink a Scotch to you then this pm!
I was really proud of Johnson, when he spoke the house grew deathly silent. Almost NO background noise, did you notice?
Makes me want to get out of Vermont and move down to live with those Texians!
Going through the thread this morning to see what I missed. In that picture of Tip O'Neill, he looks like Bozo the Clown, without the need for any makeup.
I was posting until 1 in the morning. We outed a deep cover troll.
Hard to believe he has lasted as long as he did with his posts.
Wiping tears from my eyes. I loved WKRP, and that episode was a classic. Hilarious! And so apropos!
You're right--'Rats are a sorry lot, but their instinct for survival is strong. They know they'd stand a very good chance of getting booted out of office next year if they pull a cut and run like they did in South Vietnam.

If these congressmen voted because of their plans for reelection, then we have just witnessed the most accurate poll of American position on the WOT, and the Iraq theatre. This is a message we can use to refute our "war is not the answer" associates.
Thanks for the reply.
I would have loved to been around during the hanging chad thing. I bet it was wild around here.
I've been called that. I grew up in sight of your state. It was right across the river from me in western Kentucky. During WWII my family moved to
St. Louis so my dad could work at the small arms compamy there. He had failed his induction physical for health reasons, but wanted to do his part. I was 4 at the time. We went back home in time for me to start school in first grade.
I've just [delete:about] had it with National Review.
@@@@
I used to check the Corner regularly, but they are acting like the weakest sisters in DC and NY.
Did you see there were over eight thousand hits on this thread. Someone should scroll it for the GOP.
Yeah...I saw a couple of pages back in this thread where chucky got outted......
That was funny......
Bahbah, long before I got into politics, even at a young age, I thought he looked like a clown! After last watching cspan last night, I believe the House has a new Bozo look-a-like, Jim McDermott..
As much as I'd love to wade through the 7,000 posts I missed (I kept up for a while)... who was it?
